    1 - 1 and we've missed a pen to go 2 - 1 up

Pen was saved by former academy keeper Nathan Harvey

Mason Hunter’s signed for Havant in the 7th tier after we released him this summer.

Obviously the academy must now be closed and all the players who disgraced the club released while the coaches should be sacked.

Surprised we haven't even posted a team for the game, I presume they'll put up a short recap article at the very least

Charlton Athletic Academy or @CharltonAcademy are normally good for posting live U21 updates including team sheets. Nothing other than the fact we were playing today…

Take it nobody knows the scorers or the lineup?

Michael Mylona scored one of our goals. 17 year old winger who made his u21’s debut today.

    Other goal was an OG.

Couple of trialists which the club don't want named.

Usual thing of two different XIs each half.

Folkstone on Saturday then off to Germany.

Anyone at Ashford tonight able to get hold of a team sheet? I’ve been stuck at work.

On the Casey front. I believe he is a bad egg, from a travellers family, they feel like he is entitled. He is above the rules. There certainly is a talent there, but is he focused enough, from
my Understanding, charlton offered his a deal, but lots of you need to do x,y and z.. which wasn’t happy with.

one of those, all the hype, not sure if he will go all the way.

Don’t know whether he’s put the effort in off the pitch, but he doesn’t have the pace or strength that players like Mbick and Kanu have which makes it a lot harder to break through. Strikers at our level need to test CBs physically in some way, he’s a poacher and very good finisher, but needs more to his game if he’s to play in the Championship or L1.

The u23/u18 beat Ashford 2-1 in their own backyard.

    Still no idea who played/scored.

Absolute rubbish. His father has a legitimate building business. A lovely guy. Born in England. Only ever visited Ireland for a week once. He always attended games when Pat was playing. Pat's brothers too.

Unfortunately Pat has suffered serious injuries. Limited his games over 2 seasons.

Casey is an enigma even at his young age. His family background and his Irish heritage is irrelevant, the better aspect is to contemplate how Patrick can score goal after goal with no visible means of support as it were.

Pat Casey and Micah M'Bick scored something like 60 goals when they played together for the under 21s.

Ged twun (spelling) and Cameron Reid scored two very late goals for the U18s at Ashford Utd last night.

Very young side with six 15 year olds.

Barry Fuller, formally of this parish, is the Ashford player coach
