    The bit about going to The Valley and picking up their belongings before the administrators locked the ground up and Killer Hales went straight to the players bar instead and filled his car boot up with beer😂

    Edit, I'd forgotten Jones would've been playing around that time 🤦
    I think some of the things he said about doing players .. head butting Klinsman, raking achilles etc were par for the course for hard man defenders!

    Shame he didn’t ask him about the Play Off final, considering he played for both clubs.

    Excellent interview with one of my favourite players of that era. 

    I was gutted when he left although his fee enabled us to bring in Garth Crooks and Paul Miller who were instrumental to our survival over the next couple of seasons.

    Way before my time but what an enjoyable read. I imagine most people would have no idea of the non controversial element of his post Charlton career. Seems to have led about 10 lives!

    Very good article. He did wrong and paid the price, but now has got his life back together. Loved him as a player for us.

    I loved him as a player back in the day. He was outstanding in our promotion season.

    But, let's be honest, we can all make excuses as to why it might be, but he's a wrong un.
