Agree - but this is the Argies we're speaking about. The spawniest, biggest bunch of cheats on the world footballing stage. They do it time and time again, and I fear it will be no different tonight.

There needs to be some perspective here. England have had a great World Cup and most people would have accepted making the semi-finals before the tournament started. If we win tonight then we have a great day on Sunday, if we lose then so be it - as we all know there are infinitely more important things in life than football. No idea how the result will go. All I know is:
- There will be at least one extremely controversial decision that goes Argentina's way that just screams corruption (red card, penalty, disallowed goal, etc).
- It will go to extra time and potentially pens. We never do it the easy way like Spain last night. What I would pay for a boring anticlimactic 2-0 win.

Firstly, this is a completely new generation of players.
Secondly, there’s too much risk to all that dirty stuff these days because of VAR. ’Kicking the shit’ is only possible if you have such a blind, crap ref as Paraguay benefitted from against France. Even ’cheating’ gets picked up on as ’mistaken identity.’
They benefitted from a dodgy decision against Egypt but so did we against Ghana.
I think both teams will get on with things, trying to be sensible. Things could get feisty due to dodgy VAR calls. Hopefully, they have the players to lose their heads, not us.1 -

As carry on films once said "dont lose your head". Genuinely confident 11 v 11, my worry is Bellingham flaring up, he always has a Paul Scholes like tackle in him. Stay calm and focused and i think we win. Maybe turn it on it's head and see if Romero can be tickled a bit......2
