Multiple outlets reporting a three of Gordon, Bellingham and Rogers behind Kane. Rice to start in midfield and Konsa at right back again.
Suggests a confidence that Rice will be able to last the distance, seeing as Rogers into central midfield was the effective change vs both Mexico and Norway? Or is the plan to put James there again, or will Mainoo get his chance?

A shame to see Konsa dropped for James but I get the decision. I think it will be a four man midfield to mirror the Argentina one a bit and to give them the runaround

Argentina starting Simeone just to piss us off is excellent work. I respect it.

Does feel harsh on O’Reilly especially but Spence has played well when he’s played. He’s also rapid. Konsa wasn’t great last game and may have picked up an injury as well. James allows us to be more flexible with shape too.

Just don’t want Madueke coming on if we are close to pens. He bottled the champions league final and would surely miss

Is it too early to have a Budweiser ?
Like watching Charlton Athletic, watching England is usually easier with alcohol.
Got 10am Doctor appointment tomorrow so don't want to overdo things............
    Always too early for Budweiser.
    Vile stuff.

One hour to go.  England shirt washed and ironed - Check.  Enough beer and wine in the fridge - Check  Lucky Pants on - Check (They've been on since Dr Congo).  Singing voice ready for Wonderwall - Check.   It's going to be an emotional ride folks, good luck to the boys.  Keep the faith.

Slightly surprised by the lineup, if only that Spence has looked really good as a sub against tired legs, and both James and Rogers are possible midfielder replacements for Rice if he needs to go off.

I assume that means that Rice is expected to last the full 120 minutes (if it all goes the way).

Tuchel must have had pre picked lineups before the tournament started depending on opposition and availability. In TT we trust.

If anybody listens to ‘Dead Ringers’ on Radio 4 the stuff between ‘Thomas Tuchel’ and ‘Gary Lineker’ is funny.

I'm having a wobble..... felt confident. Now I can imagine Messi just turning it on against us.

I reckon we'll concede first. Bring back to 1-1 in the second half and then win it in injury time
