With respect does this thread have to turn into a did he, didn’t he discussion? The guy is potentially coming to play football for us having not been found guilty of anything.
He hasn't been found non guilty as there was no trial. Charges were dropped 4 years after the incident.
Without wanting to extend this nonsense. He’s therefore not guilty.
But then you extend the nonsense with a stupid statement 🤔
Stupid statement? What are you on about?

The idea that if charges are dropped in a rape case that automatically means the suspect isn't guilty.

That's a pretty stupid statement. Just means the person hasn't been found guilty by a court in the eyes of law.

Is that how the real world works?

This is exactly way women have to start movements like 'me too'.
A bit different when the Judge looked at the video and could see it was consensual.

So a judge looking at the evidence and saying there is no case to take forward and that it was indeed consensual isn’t good enough?

    Ah yeah, the judge.

Well, they always get everything right. Cos they are judges.
Is there something wrong with you or is this just a trolling expedition?

Not trusting judges is trolling now!??

    New one to me.

And to be fair to me, I meant the original statement was stupid in a general manner.

It's like I have upset some Andrew Tate fanboys.

It's a very unsubtle new troll. Gone very big on volume early on, which is just basic bad trolling. No respect for the craft these modern trolls, used to be the good ones would spend years building up and hooking people in, now you just get this sad week or two long flurry before the admins have enough and boot them. I'm not one of those things were better back in my day people but trolls definitely used to be better.

    No patience these modern trolls.

Back in my day it was a real skill. Now any one with a modem and a keyboard is trying to troll.

    Sad times

Because I don't trust judges to get everything right?

Because I think it's stupid to say that if charges are dropped in a case that it doesn't mean the person is automatically innocent?

Because I don't decent, creative Championship level footballers would want to play in a NJ team?

Because I think people should condemn banners that make a mockery of the suffering of others?

I'm the one on a wind-up because I dont think the opposite of all that?!?

From an adult calling himself the Herminator?

    I'm the wind-up!?!
    Cool story bro.

disengaging with you now Mr Troll. You have a nice day

Shocked that anyone would be happy for us to sign Redmond. He’s played 20 games in the last 3 years and didn’t have his contract renewed by Sheffield Wednesday & Blackburn last season. If neither of them want him, we shouldn’t touch him with a barge pole.
Just not that simple is it. As @Braziliance said about Aribo, sometimes players do/don’t click at clubs. Maybe Redmond does here. And he won’t spend the first few weeks of a deal getting up to match fitness because he’s done pre season. He could also have dropped his wage demands, that might have been an issue for sticking around those other clubs. If he’s relatively cheap then I think he’s a worthwhile option and gives TC someone to learn from
At the moment our winger options consist of a TC with great potential but no end product at present, an Olaofe and Apter who failed in L1 last season and an 19yr old Fullah with 300 professional minutes of football.

If we’re still debating whether to sign redmond after weeks of pre season when we have the worse winger selection in the league it probably means it’s not the right thing to do. Anyone half decent would automatically be better than what we have

Saying people that have charges dropped against in rape cases aren't automatically innocent is trolling?

Saying judges aren't always right, especially in rape cases, is trolling??

If a woman has been silly enough to let you get near her in your life, ask them these questions. Tell her that in all rape cases, dropping of charges means innocence and judges are always right.
It’s now very clear you’re a troll. I too was hooked but now I’ll also disengage.

If we really are going to play 433, which even if we do I reckon it will last 2-3 games max, I suspect one of Carey or Knibbs will play as one of the 3 forwards with Campbell or Grant and Kelman .  As much as I loathe the Jones 5 at the back, I’m not sure we have the players to play anything else .. yet.
