That was as one-sided game as any I’ve seen.

I’m sure JP will make another payment to the grifters at central command to keep any uproar down.

On top of that, the new timings of the AI are a total joke.

Hurling is an amateur sport. JP McManus has been spending a fortune on Limerick and they are regarded as a professional set up now. When this was challenged/questioned some years ago JP made a million pound donation/bribe to every county in Ireland, so that he could continue juicing his own county without question. Totally wrong imo and completely against spirit of the sport.

Used to watch this game every year in The Eagle, Red Lion Lane.  The governor was a fanatic and used to bring his TV down for the game and me and mates at the time used make this a fixture every year.  Mates used to go to Shooters Hill School.

If you have a spare twenty minutes, watch the mayo captains speech. Generational.

Can you imagine an FA Cup winning captain doing the same?

My missus is from Mayo, not much into sport but has grown up with the Mayo Sam McGuire curse so is very happy to shake that off.

Really enjoyed watching the game, I went to a few games over there when our nephew was playing junior stuff, he was there today, a very happy lad I'd guess.
