    Argentina remind me of some of those thuggy sides we encounter at the Valley sometimes, where although we have players with touches of skill they wear us down with their gamesmanship and bullying and then score a scrappy winner in the last 5 minutes when we over extend ourselves.

    A lot of Mbappe comparisons but right now I don’t think it’s particularly close in terms of impact.

     A truly pathetic side. In the final from teams capitulating against them rather than being a quality side. 

    Cape Verde played more football against Spain than Argentina have. 

    The good news is I think this’ll be their last final for a while with Messi retiring.

    You'd think both teams would be a bit more adventurous, considering the winners get the honour of unfurling a giant bedsheet with a "The Falklands/Gibraltar are ours" message across it after the final whistle.
