Wasn't around for the 7-6.
Would have to go with the 4-4 draw with West Ham (2001). Kitson hat-trick for them. JJ with great late equaliser.

The 3-3 against Man U, with the Robinson equaliser?
If the Giggs turn and shot from the half way line had gone in, instead of hitting the bar, that would have been one of the all time great Premier League goals.20 -
5-4 v Cardiff November 2012. Not the biggest crowd, but right behind SCP on the night and I recall we desperately needed the points.
2-0 down, 1st half injury time equaliser, sublime 2nd half to go 5-2 up, they score in the 92nd and 95th minute to get it back to 5-4. Last kick of the game is a free kick to them on the edge of our box. the y miss and we take the three points.26 -
4-2 win over Chelski. But the downside is it probably convinced them to go for Parker18

The above + Donny play off. The atmosphere when Belik scored early on was amazing.AddicksAddict said:4-2 win over Chelski. But the downside is it probably convinced them to go for Parker7 -
Man Utd and Wet Spam were great but for me nothing beats the Kevin Lisbie Hat Trick Liverpool game.Sweet revenge for all the Selhurst thrashings I’d endured years before…9

4-3 Brighton might have been equalled but never bettered.11

3-2 vs Blackburn.2-0 & Cruising
2-1 sloppy backpass (Kish?)
2-2 last minute equaliser by their keeper Friedel
3-2 divine from Claus with almost last kick of the match. It had everything.Honourable mentions to 3-3 vs Utd and 4-4 versus that lot.9 -
This one for me too. Closely followed by the Lisbie hat-trick against Liverpool and the first game back, for the event rather than the game.killerandflash said:The 3-3 against Man U, with the Robinson equaliser?

Surely the Ipswich one in recent years has to be up there!5

When Friedel headed in the equaliser, I stormed out thinking that was it and was looking to grab an early train up to London Bridge.
Got as far as the club shop before hearing a massive cheer go up.4 -

West Ham 4-4 under the lights.3

Yep, this one for me too. JJ was an absolute beast in that match and pretty much brought us back into it single-handedly.SporadicAddick said:5-4 v Cardiff November 2012. Not the biggest crowd, but right behind SCP on the night and I recall we desperately needed the points.

Beating Spurs 4-1 around 1976.15

The 4.2 win against Chelsea felt that we were a really strong Premier League team after that but obviously didn’t know it would lead to Scott Parker (who was the fulcrum of the team) leaving and our demise from there5

Mines a weird one when you consider some of the games at the Valley in past 60 years - ie the return match was so emotional. Its the Preston promotion game 1975. 15 years old and that to me was such a special night. 1st ever promotion in my lifetime and on the pitch after will forever be embeded in my mind.17

Fri 14th jan 1977
Forest
2-1
Thrills and spills on and off the pitch from about 5pm til midnight.0 -
Beating Derby 2-0 Tees and Tracey.Clough managing and Mackay playing. Brilliant match7

4-2 Chelsea is easily the best in my opinion for actual game. Was in awe of the way we played that day, was incredible. For best experience as a whole, then the Doncaster play off semi. Hearing The Valley that loud was beautiful and the way players fought to ensure we reached Wembley was a proud moment.Best celebration was Robinson in the 3-3 Man Utd game. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player so deliriously happy to score a goal. Could watch that goal and celebration every day and still smile.7

The best we’ve played in my lifetime is the Chelsea 4-2 win. I don’t think anything else comes close.
Best games, probably the 4-4 against West Ham, the 3-3 against United and the Cardiff game.1 -
this on for me, but all the above were great gamesjose said:4-3 Brighton might have been equalled but never bettered.0 -

The cardiff game, 5-4 I think when Jacko jumped in the crowd, was pretty special.
How could I forget that Chelsea 4-2 win.
Was convinced we were heading for champions league before Parker threw his toys out of the pram.1 -
15th May 2005.
Close thread, I win.2 -
Purely for the dominant nature of the victories against so called "big" clubs, I would have to go for the Spurs (4-0) or Chelsea (4-1), both in 1977.
However, I have a particularly fond memory of 1972 and in particular two Tuesday nights, separated by just three weeks, when we thrashed first Swansea (6-0) and then Notts County (6-1). At that time we looked like we might score with each and every attack. And concede too, as evidenced little more than a year later when we contrived to draw 5-5 at Bristol Rovers!

Crawley a couple of years ago was an absolute classic26

Spurs was 4-1 and Chelsea 4-0 that season, 1977. Both great games.4

4-4 with Norwich when down to ten men for more than half the game - 2 goals in the last five minutes from Pineapple and Big Carl6

Great game. Pretty sure I peed myself a bit in excitement as our 3rd went it. Or it could’ve been the half time fosters, either way.Rizzo said:

The Alan Simonsen Chelsea game.3

Chelski 4-2 and Manure 3-3 already mentioned but they are up there along with the Donnie second leg. Most enjoyable, Preston 1975 - the only time I have ever invaded The Valley pitch!3
