I saw Edwards training at Sparrows Lane on Saturday, my boy was playing there Brighton u16. Think I might have seen Alli as well, but didn't know who he was at the timecafc4life said:Any news on Sichenje, Kelman, Edwards?
i hate the silence on injuries at times.10 -
Do we think there’s money there to buy two quality CMs, or are we scratching round for a freebie and a loan in that area to cover the two we need?0

It’s rapidly becoming quite a naive perspective, but my expectation would be around £8m of transfer spend remaining (minimum) and that we can drop that on two real upgrades in midfield.10

He was running at the time, there were balls in the vicinityfenaddick said:

Surprised there's been no news/updates on Fevrier?
Would imagine we could get him and I for one would definitely have him back5 -
Not if you were the defender marking himgilbertfilbert said:

Barry Endean will take some beating.wolfgang said:
I think it was mainly Karl Robinson who was bigging up Ben Reeves.gilbertfilbert said:
I was thinking Kirk, Ben Reeves, McGrandles… And so on.
Charlie Kirk was indeed eagerly anticipated. Was he the biggest let-down in our club's history?
McGrandles has largely fulfilled expectations, just not with us.1 -
Might as well be 631 after watching the Wimbledon game.Covered_End_Lad said:Personally think the biggest upgrade we’ve made so far is switching to 4231 and actually having the players to do it now3 -
Danny Imray being tipped to join Wrexham for £5 Million. Gutted as I hoped he might be an option.5

Is that realistic as we’ve just signed Alli?DoctorCharlton said:Surprised there's been no news/updates on Fevrier?

I wouldn’t mind him coming back either but I think we’re ok now in the wide department, it’s the midfield that needs strengthening.5 -
That’s not what management team said after Saturday game … their giving it time to settle down and heal … if still problems could lead to an operation but there hopeful it won’tDennisBooth said:
I heard that Kelman had an operation on his shoulder, so could be September time.RonnieMoore said:
They said that Sichenje is very close , Kelman if no reaction should be available for Derby .. Edwards your looking at middle Sept/Octcafc4life said:Any news on Sichenje, Kelman, Edwards?

Where have Valley Locals "valuable" contributions gone?
What was the final straw?0 -

Wasn't able to effectively contribute to fish puns a few pages ago so he needed to go10 -
That sounds risky to me, could easy pop again and then we are back to square one.RonnieMoore said:

Any news on Lloyd Jones’ contract? Really don’t want to be spending some of whatever’s left on a new CB1
-
Jones been offered a bigger contract, it's the same terms but printed on A1 paper instead of A4.49

I don't think a L1 signing can ever be anything close to the biggest let-down in our history. We signed players who were supposed to be helping us progress that set in motion our relegation from the Premier League into L1, Charlie Kirk doesn't even register on the disappointment-o-meterwolfgang said:

Does Dobson walk into this midfield? Of course he does and therefore is what we need. Need a winner in midfield and someone creative, those two planks in midfield offer very littlerememberbillybonds said:Dobson is not what we need. He was not a creative midfield player.3 -

Karl Robinson believed Aaron Barnes (remember him? nice bloke actually) would play for England.3
-
Wonder if Mark Kinsella and Graham Stuart still have their boots...1
-
Planks? really, they are two players that have been great for us and always give 100%. Some might think we need better to progress, but I don't think comments like that are right.Carl_bratton said:

Coventry seems to have been turned into an awful player in some fan's eyes. I think people have short memories he only started putting poorer performances when the team did and think he was playing through injury. I would not bin him off yet.33 -
The work Coventry does massively goes unnoticed. He’s been a cracking player for us and like mentioned above, was absolutely holding his own in the championship up until his period of injury!40
