Love that kit design. I know I won’t buy one but that could have persuaded me.

Only thing I don't like about it is the back being solid purple, kinda ruins the aesthetic a bit
Assume it’s some kind of kit rule to help with reading numbers. Prefer a full colour back rather than some stripes with a blank square

Like this as a third kit. With matching shorts and socks, it should look fine. RSK stands out a bit but it's a nice tribute to the Lizzy Line.

So, that's why @Ollywozere asked to borrow the shirt on the left from the museum's collection!

One of over 300 #cafc shirts in our collection, many of which are on display.

    I don't mind that.

Personally, I'd prefer the 3rd kit to be a once a season colour clash "generic" kit, which isn't sold to the public (like the plain white Hummel 3rd shirt a few years ago), but if you're actually going to sell a 3rd kit, then it should be something different, and a bit funky.

Relieved it still features Reebok's advanced RBK Dry moisture-wicking technology.
To be honest that’s been the dealbreaker for my 11yr old, he wouldn’t have wanted it otherwise, similar to the 37 degree rake on the red one, he’s not fussy at all!!😂

It’s not really that much alike though is it, I think it’s ok in its own right.

Not sure why they chose blue over green?

Looks absolutely nothing like the kit that it's supposedly a "bold reimagining of"

It's fine though, I'm just excited to see the away

It's a modern interpretation of it.

Still purple, white and a third colour in the realm of blue/green, but they've decided to use a brighter turquoise hue instead of the darker teal, and it's still (kinda) vertical stripes.

I like it a lot, it's a nod to the kit from the 90s without being a direct replica

Yeah i definitely think the nod is more succeful than a direct interpretation would be. Think theyve done pretty well with that and the away kit, I think away, 3rd, home are my order of favourites this year.

Lobato with her hand on Gough's shoulder like she's his mum and he's telling the local rag his story of how Tesco refused to refund him for his mouldy Babybel is absolutely killing me.

I like the kit. Having said that, I've been waiting for a take on the classic purple and green monstrosity for years and it's a slightly odd choice to create a version of it that is purple and not green at all. Why are those stripes blue? I think it would be a brilliant shirt if not for that. But I'll be getting it anyway because it's insane and those are the best shirts to own

Sorry, I think that's the lighting. It's not ecru. It's white...

I like it, but I don’t see it has much to do with the 90s kit - just because they both have a bit of purple in hardly makes it a reimagining.

I find all that marketing guff that has to come with every shirt a bit cringe anyway. Just knock out something you think will look ok on a fat lad in a pair of jeans (like me) and call it good.

Wrong tone used for the green - looks way too blue. No Likey.

I’m really warming to it & I detested the original.
Think this will be the purchase, just need the squad numbers so I can add Lobato on the back 😎

Being pedantic but the shorts are a different purple to the shirt.

Are they? Would have to see them up against the purple used on the back

    The socks are also purple

If we're unbeaten in the kit will the team come out to Purple Reign?

Haven't seen the back but it's clearly different to the front, maybe to match the back that would make sense, but this is Reebok!

And with purple socks too that's a lot of purple.
