And with purple socks too that's a lot of purple.
Reckon it's because the away kit will have burgundy/red shorts and light socks.

hideous kit - no football kit should be purple!
Take it you was not a fan of this?  😂

Seeing more of it in close up, I think it’s alright actually.

Purple symbolizes a blend of power, spirituality, creativity, and wisdom, bridging intellect and passion.

    Historical and Cultural Significance

Purple has long been associated with royalty, wealth, and authority due to the rarity and expense of purple dyes in ancient times, making it a colour reserved for kings, queens, and spiritual leaders. Across cultures, purple also conveys prestige, dignity, and sacred honour, appearing in ceremonial clothing, religious temples, and sacred rituals.

In Western traditions, it often represents mysticism, sophistication, and pride, while in Eastern contexts, it can symbolize wisdom and spiritual insight.

absolutely fine to go a bit mad with the 3rd kit - it'll always be a bit marmite.....personally I think it's a shocker (bus/train seat)....I'm sure the kids will love it

the away kit on the other hand looks a beauty

And this is why I shall buy it 🫶🏼💜

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn’t go, and doesn’t suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we’ve no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I’m tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people’s gardens
    And learn to spit.

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes.

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practise a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

I first had this read to me whilst in shavasana during an outside yoga session whilst I was wearing my brand new dryrobe which was, yes you’ve guessed it, purple 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Like that. Good set of kits all round.
Except for the tiny Ibiza Final Boss style gunshow sleeves on the home and away shirts.

Some of us can pull that look off tbf. Invest in more gym time if you can't.

Personally think men poncing around with their guns out look ridiculous, and the sleeves on this shirt just look uncomfortable.

Leaburn and Lobato more natural at modelling than Gough and Kenney I’d suggest
Our Keenan looks right pissed off, and our Gillian just looks a bit nervous is all!

As I've said before, I like this kit. It's a big swing and it lands for me.

Only thing I don't like about it is the back being solid purple, kinda ruins the aesthetic a bit
Assume it’s some kind of kit rule to help with reading numbers. Prefer a full colour back rather than some stripes with a blank square

I’ll allow that because the stripes don’t reappear above the number

Will look fine for those adding a nameset but not the best without.

Has anyone had the home shirt delivered yet? How are they fitting this year? I'm gonna order the third shirt tomorrow and never know what size to get because it seems a lucky dip if they're too tight or not.

I prefer this new one to the old one which I still have and now find quite awful.

I really like the badge without the concentric circles.

What do I know, but it just seems crazy that we’d only release our kits a week before the season starts.
Loads of teams have been super late this year for some reason. Reading announced their first kit this week, Crawley haven’t released any at all and I’ve seen a few clubs release their away kit this week. It does seem odd but I’m sure there are reasons
    World Cup, innit?

Not sure what I’m doing with my life at 42 years of age, but looking up Jordan Holsgrove lead me to the Estoril Twitter page… and their new set of Reebok kits
