Chambers was ok for us but he wasn’t Jay Dasilva or even Maatsen good as a loan player . Solid enough .redman said:Before getting carried away with Chambers it is worth noting he only really played at centre back out of necessity. With Van Dyke not returned from world cup, Gomez and 2 others out injured it was left Chambers and a youngster who can't get a UK work permit for 26/27 season to fill in. Interestingly Wrexham failed to trouble them.
It is likely Chambers will be either loaned out again or more likely sold.4 -
Did a job for us, good player but doubt he’ll be back here.

Chambers has always been a player slightly out of place because his skillset is better suited to him being a centre back but he lacks the size and strength. He's a good tackler, good marker and his positioning centrally is pretty good. Jones had him move inside to add an extra dimension to the midfield rather than push up the flanks from LWB. He's not really quick or attacking enough to be a LWB or LB but his lack of physical attributes stop him from being a good CB in anything other than a 3 where there's two other very big, strong centre backs around him. If he finds that system - Azpilicueta in Conte's 343 as an example - then great but otherwise I think he'll always find he's lacking in some key areasredman said:Before getting carried away with Chambers it is worth noting he only really played at centre back out of necessity.
