Not much. I'd bank there are teams holding out to sign him really cheap in January or on a free next season. The obsession is ok imo at least he played for us and had a great season so everyone has fond memories of him.

Same applies for wingers it changes how you play the game, it affects how you take players on, how you shoot, how you pass, how you cross, the type of runs you make etc.
Wingers could probably play on both sides but they will always be better on one side depending on their traits.We played Bristol Rovers under Haynes when Garner was sacked we played CBT off the right and JRS off the left to try and supply Stockley better, both struggled and we switched it back at half time example right there on why it’s not simple
