    I was in a box that day too. I certainly celebrated when Igor scored so perhaps we were in the same box!

    Slight deviation here. 

    Whilst I was at Uni (around 2000/01 I think) I got on a train from London Euston to Watford Junction (I was raised in Watford despite being from Bexley). 

    Once the doors had closed, I realised I was on a Millwall train to Birmingham for the playoff semis. 

    My main issue was that I had one of those little Siemens phones that I had downloaded "The Red Red Robin" as the ringtone. 

    Luckily, no one phoned me.

    Derby away, can’t remember year but in corporate box with my boy and work mates one who i absolutely hated as he was a right creep to anyone in authority. Everything went fine Derby 2 up, having a laugh and joke with the box next door. We pull it back to 2-2 just before the end, things turned a little naughty with the man mountain of the next door box threatening to bash my by 13 year old boy for over celebrating. Things escalated with me and my engineers defending my boy, but before any punches where phone my little boy turned round to the man mountain and said the immortal words “don’t know why your picking on me for, he’s (pointing to the company creep) is a Nottingham forest fan. 

    Creep was last seen running at full tilt with the next door box chasing him, whilst our box was rolling up. Had meeting with the creep a few days later and his two black eyes were looking rather juicy. Je very rarely spoke to me again, so a double bonus. Game finished 2-2.

    Millwall, old and new Den.  The only time I saw us win, 2-0 in the snow, I was in the press box.

    Wimbledon - a couple of times over the last few seasons.

    Northampton Town.

    Bristol Rovers - the 5-1 win, the recent 1-2 loss, a couple of others.

    Oxford United.

    Chelsea on the sand.

    Arse the first year in the Premiership, such joy seeing Petit get his marching orders, and Bergkamp was a wonder to behold.

    When we knocked Chelsea out of the carling cup on penalty's and Mourhino was the manger in his first stint, was so hard not cheer.

    Same here. Went with my Chelsea supporting next door neighbour and his brother,plenty of banter on the way up,they were alot quieter on the way home

    Birmingham away in around 2008/9. Think we lost 2 or 3-0. 

    Was boring, nothing to cheer about and the crowd was just your average crowd 🤷‍♂️

    actually, google disagrees and we lost 3-2 apparantly and it was an exciting game mcdadden, quedrue and kev phillips scored for them, andy gray and bouazza for us and nigel quashie got sent off.

    I went to Stamford Bridge for our top of the table match with Charlton. It was a Wednesday (21/11/76) night match with hoards of fans trying to get in which looked impossible in time for kick off and whether it was going to be a lockout. A guy nearby asked if anyone wants to buy a ticket for the stands. I bought the ticket thinking he was a charlton fan. Charlton scored and I rose to my feet cheering…then looked around only to see that I was the only one in the stand standing up and cheering. Needless to say, I wasn’t welcomed is an understatement but I stood my ground and rode the match out which became a bit easier after Chelsea scored and then went on to win the match 2-1. There I leant a valuable lesson to keep yer gob shut when in the home end.

    QPR away when we lost 1-0. I went with a QPR mate and I have to say it’s still one of the worst grounds I been in both away and home end. I will never revisit.

    For the 2-2 midweek game in '98 I went up with my City mate and sat in the top tier of the Kippax.
    Just before half-time the guy to my right very pleasantly asked to get past as he wanted to get a drink/whatever, on walking past he said "mate, I have no problem you sitting here but please don't call City a bunch of c****!"  
    He must have been the ultimate pacifist.
    We'd had a few during the afternoon so I imagine my larynx had loosened a bit.....

    City Ground with mate who’s a Forest fan
    Old Trafford for the Carabao Cup game with my wife who’s a Man Utd fan.

    Once watched Charlton at The Valley in the away end either the season we returned to The Valley or the following one. I worked briefly in London with brother of John Hartson who had just got in Luton Town first team squad. His brother had 6 player complimentary tickets all of which he gave to Addicks fans - and we won.

    My son just reminded me of this one that I had forgot about.

    He was only about 5 or 6 and I was taking him to the Etihad which had not been open long. My mate said he had his kids season tickets spare and would we like them so I thought why not, saves a few bob.

    Not long into the game, the locals around us are making disgruntled noises with a few very sarcastic comments coming in our direction. I knew we had kept our mouths shut as I had read the riot act to my lad before the game.

    Then I realised why, my dipstick of a son had taken his coat off and was sat there in his Charlton shirt, his excuses of but dad, I have kept quiet was amusing at best. Thankfully we took a battering and due to his age we got away with nothing more than embarrassing banter!

    So many over the years, one highlight being called “morons” by Jimmy hill when a mob of us got escorted out of the Wimbledon end at plough lane back in the day.

    I remember about 6-7 of us went in the clock end at Highbury season Aug 98, 0-0 draw after we paid a turnstile operator off, the gooners sussed us out very quickly but nobody came near us, they formed a gap between us and left us to it, coppers came and put us in the away end about 15 minutes into the game.

    Was in the away end when John Hendry scored for Charlton at Upton Park in 1992. Had a mate who was one of those posh Millwall fans who liked the menacing atmosphere, and he had a spare ticket. Had to sit on my hands and pretend to be gutted (as a safer alternative to actually being gutted)

    Ive just remembered that I was in the Stretford End when we got tanked 6-1(?)

    I think I’ve already mentioned this.
    Myself & @TelMc32 have a mate who’s worked in football all his career. When he was FD at Coventry, we went up to the game at the then Ricoh Stadium. It was at a time when the club was up for sale. In with the Director of both clubs before the game and when we go out, we sat with the FD, MD and Chairman of Coventry. You could see their fans trying to work out who the two good looking and obviously rich men were. You could only wonder what was being said on Coventry Life and who’s in the directors’ box.
    Anyway about 20 minutes and Charlton scored, which was the cue for both of to jump up, resulting in many  bewildered home fans.
