I have just turned back to page 1 of this thread, it's very amusing what people post with a new signing.

Been a real letdown. Just doesn't inspire any kind of confidence, shame his wages probably put a stop to any move.

Cash in if we can . We’ve got two other keepers that are better than him.
I agree we need to get rid however we’d be lucky if we could pay someone to take him on those wages…
There’s got to be a club stupid enough to pay him £20K a week…

    Only one.

It’s not that he is particularly bad rather that he isn’t obviously a step up for the large suggested fees/wages invested.

We can't, that's the issue - who would want him?

We should drop him anyway and sign a replacement but I can't see that happening.

This in a nutshell - expected ALOT more from him when he joined.

I am convinced he doesn’t keep his eyes open , when making a save, claiming a ball. Hence the misjudgment.
Like blinking when you fire a gun, the shot could go anywhere

Short for a keeper, doesn't command his box. His communication is virtually non existent and regularly parries the ball into dangerous areas. He's a reasonable shot stopper which should be the basic requirement for someone to choose to play as a goalkeeper.

  • Mannion is just as good if not better. Absolutely a waste of money Kaminski has been poor

I'm sure Jones knows we need a better keeper but priorities are elsewhere for now.
Not conceding goals should be a priority.

All areas of the team affect that.

He’s been a big disappointment in a playing capacity but also doesn’t seem to have anything about him to make you warm to him. Comes across as characterless

I think he's an excellent goalkeeper, he just doesn't care. He's like Ben Watson. He's had his day, and now he's just taking what he can. There is zero fire in his belly to put in good performances or keep the ball out of the net. He's dialling it in.

He really doesn’t help himself. The wing freekick today I don’t think he should save but the least he could do is make an effort

He done the same at Swansea in the final game of the season. It’s just like it was a training ground exercise.

    Dreadful keeper.

Must admit I don't feel confident with TK in goal.

Think Mannion is a better keeper personally and unfortunately all keepers have clangers at times. James Trafford started as City's number one and whilst I appreciate they signed Donnarumma, Trafford had a shocking start to the season. He is now Britain's most expensive keeper!

Even if Charlton have to pay half his wages for another team to get rid, they should do it.

Personally I don't think either keeper is good enough. Mannion was making mistakes every game in the run in which delayed us securing our survival.

Team game though. Never great when a keeper cocks up but can't blame him entirely when we should have been beating teams like Sheff Wed.

They’re not. But Mannion is probably the better of the two.

Absolutely this. Comes across completely robotic.

Wouldn't mind if he was a half-decent keeper.

But coupled with the being unable/frightened to claim crosses or command his area (the defence immediately looked more confident once Mannion came back in), the constant parries straight back in the danger area, the hopelessness at covering long shots, the non-movement and/or nonchalance (such as Saturday) - it's a real travesty (and a worry) that he is our number 1.

Absolutely ridiculous - we're under enough pressure as it is.

Not to mention the wage the bloke is getting. Diabolical.

Remember he was relegated two seasons running before he came to us. Sort of says a lot really.

Don't understand why Jones sticks with him. Sometimes you just have to admit when you've made a mistake.

Because no-one has come in for Kaminski, we don't have a better alternative and we would be reluctant to spend again on a keeper and have Kaminski sat unhappily on the bench

Can’t exactly have your 20k highest paid player sitting on the bench all year and we can talk about Kaminski not being great but Mannion isn’t exactly a world beater as well.

Hopefully we can just let the defence protect the keeper like they’ve done for the last 2 years.
