Jones did say we have brought in grant and alli as more threats to add to tc’s as we relied on tc last year or something like that.If this is true, we cant afford what others are willing and/or he wants to leave. 🫣0

Interesting post from Cawley. Sounds to me like we’re looking to cash in and don’t want to risk TC moving for a small fee outside of England.Tbf after Small left, I think it was NJ who said he’d try to avoid a similar situation happening again.Maybe NJ is going to be ruthless.3

If we sell TC we then need 2 wingers, and both need pace. We can’t just go into the season with Apter as our RM and Alli as our only pacey threat.KG can do a good job across the line but he’ll then get burnt out.
We still have time to do business but with 12 days til Derby I’m starting to get a bit shaky.4 -

4 wingers is fine if it’s 2 on each side, we probably won’t even play wingers every game. From the end of last season to the start of this, would you have taken it?
On paper, it's stronger and more balanced, and more suited to the shape we seem to be moving to.
Need that final winger to be a good addition though
