Looking at todays photos,Emma didnt look too distraught

Norrie through to last 32 in Montreal. Fearnley beaten by no 13 seed Mensik in three sets.

Norrie beat Mr Boulter 5-7, 7-6, 6-2.

Cash and Glasspool lost in the 3rd set tiebreak in the first round of the doubles.

Norrie regains his spot as British No 1 in the rankings. Fery has had a break since Wimbledon.

Amazing turnaround with some exceptional rallies.  De Minaur completely wiped out at the end, will need to work hard to get his head straight after that

He’d never played an intense fortnight of tennis at the top level before and I read that a couple of years back he had suffered Draper like bone bruising. He might just be looking after himself.

Definitely. There is a fine line between maing hte most of new opportunities and taking on too much

Dont know when photos where taken,but I just compere  them with the photo of Draper who looks really
shattered.Might be me but I just dont think Emma puts Tennis as the be all and end all of her life,she earns a lot of money off the court,and probably dosnt really miss the daily training grind.

It is highly likely that numerous photos are taken and the one that suits their agenda is published. So she's injured again and not allowed to smile ever whilst recovering? This is basic media stuff. If Raducanu wasnt training so much she wouldn't get injured so much - so that doesn't follow your logic. I'm sure Draoer has had the occasional laugh working wirh Andy Murray bit that's not what they want to print.
With Raducanu, that is how all the injuries in her first year after the USO happened, from going from a few hours a week as a school girl and ramping up too quickly. And probably why Fery is taking it slowly after Wimbledon

Norrie loses to Fils in straight sets in last 16 at Montreal.

Fery due to play in Cincinnati next week - will join Norrie in the main draw. Hopefully more British players will come through qualifying.

Interesting he was 5 - 2 in the second - 47 unforced errors and 12 double faults against the world number 64.

WIth Alcatraz out for a good few months and so many other injuries amongst the top players, are they playing too much and/or just hitting the ball harder than their bodies can sustain?

Boulter wins her opening round match. 

Choinski beaten in three sets by Tirante.

Fery down to play doubles as well as singles in Cincinnati. His first singles match is against (Jack) Duckworth.

His Christian name probably isn’t Jack but it should be
