I think you’re right, I’ve seen a lot of managers moaning this summer about the window being slow and inflated fees. I think in comparison to the rest of the EFL we’ve done pretty well with the business we’ve done so farcabbles said:

We've been a league one club (and an average one at that) for 8 of the 10 last seasons so we were never going to get great fees for our players, Aribo is one of the few I reckon we could have got £1m + for and there were even talks we've turned down pretty substantial bids down the years for Lyle, Leaburn and now Mbick. Also don't even think Lookman was inflated, we could all tell he would make it and despite it not working at Everton, they still turned a decent profit on him. We don't have anyone of the same ilk as Hackney or any top Championship players that can make it in the prem so we are never going to see super fees for our players atm.MartinCAFC said:
