I disagree, by the way. Some players have fantastic technique for the level, and some have poorer technique, but often make up for it in other areas. It's the same for practically every skillset in football.My point is that none of them are technically poor I don’t think. I’m not sure you can be at that level0 -

Simon Church got something to say about that, played a lot of his career at Championship level and had dreadful ball striking technique but worked his nuts off and was very athleticTheHerminator said:

It’s relative though. Obviously any professional footballer is pretty technically good. But relatively there are players who aren’t that great technically but make up for it with the rest of their play. I’ve always thought Josh Edwards is quite technically poor but is still a great playerTheHerminator said:

We've signed decent young defenders in Billy K and Mesik who I expect to be an inprovement on Macca and Akex Mitchell.
Grant is an experienced, proven Championship striker and McNamara is another solid player at this level.
Alli we'll have to see how he works out but he gives us more attacking options.
We've not lost any vital contracted players as yet but we wait to see what happens to Lloyd, Kayne and TC.
So far 6.5/10 for me
If we sign the midfielder/s we all, including NJ, know are needed and the three players re-sign then it becomes an 8 for me but as ever the real proof of the pudding will be in the eating.49 -

Is Gisappointed harveysgardener? His obsessions with Nadir Cifti and Conor Gough used to be legendary. Cifti went on to get a 6 game ban for biting someone and then fought his own teammate in training and Gough played about 60 games his whole career. Feels like a similar level of scouting3

They can’t afford a fee for Kanu and only enquired if he was available to loan.Orient want Kabia, Plymouth want Mellon/Kabia/Evans, Barnsley want Wareham. Luton already picked up Marshall, Stockport got Maldron. Theres not a single L1 club with a shred of money who want Kanu as a 1st choice at present.2 -

Mowbray has had to fly to Switzerland to beg the blackburn owners to give him more money and Schumacher has come out and said Celtic's 3rd choice striker may not be financially viable for Bolton to afford.5
