I think he is more likely to end up in the National Leaguemart77 said:
Solid move for him with his squad position currently. Hopefully Josh Laqueratabua follows him in a similar move.Sage said:One that will surprise many considering he doesn’t fall into the squad limits but… one to get my ITK status back 🤣

He needs a loan, as we have too many centre backs, and Burke the most "expendable " will be very hard to shift.Sage said:One that will surprise many considering he doesn’t fall into the squad limits but… one to get my ITK status back 🤣

Seems from jones interview that we are close to either redmond or chalobah and nothing else, wasnt convincing10

We haven't seen enough of Knibbs and Kelman yet I would say, but I think Tanto & Apter are done here, 4 million quids worth of players in those two alone spunked.
If Knibbs and Kelman don't kick on this season, looking at 8-10 million pounds worth of players flopped.
Makes you wonder how much homework is done on these players and whether or not they suit Nathan Jones as a manager.I find that absolutely laughable. You’re floating the theory they didn’t bother researching players. How on earth would you know that?
Do you not think having the second-lowest playing budget in the league forced us into taking calculated risks on players who had a higher chance of not making the step up? It may not even have been a choice, it might simply have been the only option available.
None of us knows what compromises or gambles the club had to make last summer, and neither do you. The reality is we’ve got nowhere near the financial resources of most teams in this league.
Trying to pin the blame on our best manager in years just feels like refusing to accept the real problem: we don’t have the money to compete on a level playing field.
I have said before, I don't believe every signing we have made has been at Nathan Jones 100% discretion. I believe certain players have been signed without Jones input but the compromise is they will back him with certain signings. I have no real proof of this, just speculation.
I don't really blame Jones for anything, I think his hands are tied and he is up against it this season.

And academy players who played under him at Charlton. And if they played at Luton as well... it would be a CL members wet dream...AberystwythAddick said:The part about Jones knowing the rw very very well.Come on someone must have a program or the time to research every right sided player that’s played under jones9 -
I can only think of one Sebastian, an Italian forward nicknamed "The Atomic Ant". I forget his surname. No good for us, though. Would fail the height test.EugenesAxe said:
Are you saying it contains the name of our next signing?wolfgang said:
If you watched the movie Sebastian you would have learned that details of the complete Soviet nuclear preparations could be contained within a full stop. Do not dismiss them lightly.Mr. Happy said:Phew, just logged on to see 200 odd unread posts, but thankfully two thirds of them were just full stops.0 -

Id imagine its luton or ex luton lol 😂0

I would be delighted if we get some money for Olaofe. He did try but never looked championship quality and his fitness levels were appalling.0

Defo won’t be Redmond. He’s injured.2121 said:Seems from jones interview that we are close to either redmond or chalobah and nothing else, wasnt convincingThen again I wouldn’t put it past us.🩺✅5 -
Didn't someone compare Coventry to Elliot Anderson a few weeks agoLittleAddick said:I'm sorry but comparing Tanto Oloafe to Nicholas Jackson might be one of the most deluded/flattering things I've ever heard about a Charlton player.3 -
Harsh as it sounds if he’s doing well and Lincoln are still a threat tonight us getting relegated we can just recall in January to disrupt them8

Asked a Saints supporting mate of mine his thoughts on Edozie and he said "Fast tricky winger with no end product. Always looks like he's about to be good but has been a bit shit". Sounds like he'll fit well here19

There's a fair chance that we will still use the 5-3-2/3-5-2, particularly to see out games/after we go through the inevitable rough patch.AberystwythAddick said:
Personally the formation change has set us back a fair distance.LargeAddick said:
That’s subjective. Is Mesik good enough for the Championship, Koumeito likewise. Alli blows hot and cold, will Grant still be good enough? McNamara too? I don’t think the squad has greatly improved, thus far anyway, but time will tell.Covered_End_Lad said:
It’s a better squad than we had last season, and that squad didn’t get relegated.J BLOCK said:

But we don’t know that, he could’ve been in complete agreement with every incoming player. I think the underlying problem is not recruitment or research or effort it’s the lack of money. It’s not like they’re not being anything but transparent, they said so many times last season we’ve the second worst player budget in the league. You don’t think that’s going have the biggest impact on our recruitment, constantly outbid by other teams (mostly Preston).0 -
Still waiting for the signing abroad we was promised.14 -
My wife is good friends with edozies mum. Bizarrely had a kick about with him and his brother (Thomas who’s at wolves) in my back garden. They were nothing special 😂 half tempted to get the wife to text the mum and see what’s what.3

Surely we can't compete with Copenhagen... Weren't they in the champions league last year?No.1 in South London said:0 -
What about this medical that's been going on for over a week. Is it Chalobah and it's like when you fail the mot you tweak it and go again. Happy to have him if he can stay fit 💪5

Edozie is on the list of former NJ wingers. So I'd imagine that's more than coincidence.No.1 in South London said:0 -
Cant see the other CM is Holsgrove. NJ said its one we can wait on (or words to that effect) which sounds like it could be done nearer to the end of the transfer window (which to me sounds more like a loan). The CM position has been an urgent one & not one you can be waiting on.TheNotoriousBWP said:If we end up finalising our transfer window by bringing in all of Chalobah, Holsgrove and Edozie, I’d be extremely extremely happy and would honestly feel inclined to give it a 8.5 or 9/10.Still personally think we need a new GK as well but Jones seems to love Kaminski despite the howlers.3 -
From NJ's interview I think they might genuinely be waiting on the media team to sort out the Curbs video.8
