    I’ve had bits and pieces before, and a lot more than just transfers which am sure people will remember, but they’re not often and especially not anymore. Hence managing anyone’s expectations going forward 😂

    He had to go, and we still need to move on a few more due to the 25 man squad limit.

    The CM and RW signings will tell us a lot more about the budget. Hopefully we’ll be paying decent fees for both.

    Maybe he would’ve, but watching us play with Dykes on the pitch was often very painful. We can’t do another season of lumping it to him and Leaburn and hoping it sticks - we’ll go down like that. 

    Dykes is pretty solid in the air, runs around quite a bit, but shoots and passes like a League One player. He just isn’t that good.

    He is, just about, a viable option in this league. If he wanted more money than we were prepared to offer then I’m really not too fussed about him not signing back on. 

    Let’s hope the recruitment team have been looking at other options.
    With this squad there's a fair chance we'll go down anyway. Our strength last year was our defence, 3 at the back, wing backs & from January Coady organising everyone around him & yes we lumped it forward hoping it would stick, but it worked as far as we managed to avoid relegation This year it appears (so far) we're playing a flat back four with presumably Ramsey & Bell our full backs. Ramsey is better at RCB, Bell is decent at LCB & is now an injury waiting to happen at LB. Our central midfield is the same apart from an injury prone Chalobah, is he the dominant player that NJ mentioned or are we waiting for another out of contract hope that nobody else wants. Upfront we now have 3 left wingers although it wouldn't surprise me if Grant doesn't play a more central role in the absence of a striker who can actually hit the target. I'm certainly not discounting Godden again but feel he will be used to come off the bench if/when needed. Is Apter our only right winger ? Lets hope he's not the same player who couldn't get a game last season in the 3rd Division. I really feel that our owners have thrown NJ under the bus & expect him to carry out another miracle with what seems less of a budget than last season.

    Sorry been a bit busy today... But hearing from my reliable source inside Sparrows Lane that we can expect three deals to happen today - Chalobah is apparently joining on a two year deal, Olaofe is being loaned to Lincoln Red Imps, and Gough is being sold to Bristol City.

    Obviously every player is up for debate if they’re squad/elite that will come down to opinion. 

    This is based on the assumption Asiimwe Kanu JRC and Apter are moved on for squad space to make way for the new signings again can debate could TC go over Apter Doc/Cov over JRC etc (and that Fullah goes on loan). 

    Harder to integrate youngsters now we’re in the championship so doubt we get 9 until we get to a Cat 1 Academy

    Definitely not playing lol. Those sites use predicted line ups for a lot of the lesser known leagues.
