    Christ, those YouTube videos make him look good. The thing that stands out is his acceleration to get to the loose ball over 5-10 yards, and then the use of his long levers to shield/win the ball.

    Looks happy to press forward and ball carry and try and pass. I reckon a lot of it doesn't come off, and the highlights... well, they're highlights, but it's good intent, and you can't really teach some of that fancier footwork he tries. Can see him being caught in possession a bit, and can see his thread-the-needle passes sometimes not coming off, but he looks active. And active is promising!

    I just worry that we’re pinning all our hopes on him and he gets injured early until say November time and all our midfield problems come back.

    Our midfield needs such an overhaul we probably need both Ouma and Holsgrove if we could afford both even if it means being ruthless and moving Docherty on?
    If we manage to sign both Ouma and Holsgrove I’ll actually disillusion myself into thinking the title charge is on

    he looks like the sort of midfielder we’ve needed for a while - lots of energy and plenty of talent to go with it.  I’ve wanted a proper engine I. The engine room for years.  Semedo was like a horse but not mobile enough.  This guy seems like he could have a huge amount of potential to be a “Kane” type of player who just doesn’t stop moving.  Colour me excited
