Last time he done that away at Wimbledon. Alli came in the next day.ButtleJR said:Listening to the Pod. Sounds like NJ had to shoot off "for good reason" so interviews were shortTomorrow is the day people2 -
I’ve fixed my insta tool so will do the rounds later8

I skipped to the end, Louis asked Rich about transfer musings and whether he thinks we’re close to stuff, he said yeah I think so.ButtleJR said:Listening to the Pod. Sounds like NJ had to shoot off "for good reason" so interviews were short
Sounded like he knew more than he’s able to share, which would tie in with the other day NJ talking about having another signing done this weekend and rumours of Ouma being on the verge of signing.
Hopefully another Sunday signing.8 -
If Ouma comes in I would guess JRC may be sent out on loan.
go with Chalobah, Ouma, Doc, Coventry for those 2 spots with Mwamba as the youngster2 -
Sounded at the end of the pod as if Cawley knew something but it's probably embargoed so he can't say. Tends to post at the same time as the club announce it so I reckon a signing tomorrow.9

His family are in Dorset but yes.golfaddick said:

Hadn’t we already signed grant by the Wimbledon game?John_Fitzpatrick1 said:

Never attempted a chant before I have the musical talent of a geriatric slug and I can't sing.....however if he signs.
Oh my God by the Kaiser Chiefs.
"Ouma's God I can't believe it, Charlton's not been this good for years."
Probably doesn't scan.1 -
True. Except his family are in Southampton.golfaddick said:

Rio Kyerematen linked with a loan move to us or QPR, 21 year old Spurs CM.3 -
In an ideal world, would be great for the club to be ruthless and find the funds to add Holsgrove and sell/loan Docherty & JRC would be pretty much the midfield rebuild we need. Docherty may even find interest for a permanent deal somewhere but appreciate adding Holsgrove as well as Ouma is probably an unlikely long shot but would be the midfield rebuild we need. I just worry we sign Ouma and he gets a bad injury would mean having to keep with Docherty and Coventry a lot. I feel like the club really needs to push the boat out for both Ouma and Holsgrove if they can.DamoNorthStand said:If Ouma comes in I would guess JRC may be sent out on loan.

If we can't get Holsgrove as well that midfield above and JRC too, would still be okay, but still vulnerable.1 -
Correct, good spot! It was AlliTodds_right_hook said:

Feels unlikely we'd be able to satisfy Spurs wanting regular minutes for someone like that.Scoham said:https://www.ontheminute.com/exclusive-qpr-and-charlton-set-for-london-loan-battle-over-tottenham-gem/54588

One of his teammates Callum Olusesi lives in the house opposite mine. I’ll tap him up.1

That site has a history of just making up transfer interest and making it look credible by adding more than one club. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think they’ve got a single one right yet.Scoham said:https://www.ontheminute.com/exclusive-qpr-and-charlton-set-for-london-loan-battle-over-tottenham-gem/54588

Cotteril seems to think a "couple" of our players are potentially leaving for a few mil3 -
We all dream of a team of BFKs, a team of BFKs a team of BFKs
(well probably not everyone)0 -
Ouma sounds like one for the future, not one that is going give us a step up we are hoping for. Maybe I am wrong, let’s see. But good we are scouting wider.1
-
Does he? He’s just played an integral role in the midfield of the Polish champions. Can’t see him coming to be ‘one for the future’.DubaiCAFC said:Ouma sounds like one for the future, not one that is going give us a step up we are hoping for. Maybe I am wrong, let’s see. Worryingly those worth that we probably wouldn't want to go.ButtleJR said:

I can't see us signing anyone for the future at the moment, we're not in a position to be able to be spending millions on project players. Midfield still needs minimum one ideally two more upgrades now, not in the future.DubaiCAFC said:Ouma sounds like one for the future, not one that is going give us a step up we are hoping for. He's played in the Europa league and the Champions league - didnt get overly far but even so that has to be a step up over our current options.DubaiCAFC said:Ouma sounds like one for the future, not one that is going give us a step up we are hoping for. I think if he signs it’s going to be for a few million so he’s definitely pencilled in to start.DubaiCAFC said:Ouma sounds like one for the future, not one that is going give us a step up we are hoping for. Maybe I am wrong, let’s see. But good we are scouting wider.4 -
Let’s see, seems bit unproven and played 20 odd games. Seems tough task for him to provide the step up we need. Time will tell.RC_CAFC said:
