    Once we have players in the club can give those fringe players the unkind option of "move somewhere else or we just won't register you in the squad".

    Harsh on the likes of JRC but football can be cruel. Maybe Preston would be an option given their lack of players and him having been down the road at Blackburn.

    Asiimwe could be a loan but Kanu will be a dilema. He's worth a fee but no one, as yet, seems willing to pay want we.

    And Mesik filled in admirably as cover I thought. I'm less concerned about RB than I was LWB last year.

    He's played there more than anywhere else in his career and never played below the championship doing it 

    If we need him for a few games there he'll be fine, especially as in a back 4 he doesn't need as much pace as in a back 5

    It’s goalkeeper talk but Anthony Patterson is off to Wrexham from Sunderland for 8 million which is bonkers money for a bloke who had a good half season when Sunderland went up 

    shows that if Kaminski does go viable alternatives will not come cheap

    I suppose this isn’t the time for me to pass on a review from my Polish forklift driver who is a Lech Poznan fan then. Like with any player I will reserve judgment until they play for us (Kermorgant, Coady etc.) but it is far from glowing.

    Probably true, but has played there before so could maybe step in in an emergency.
