BEAT THE BOOKIE 2026/27 - Week 1 fixtures

Welcome back to the competition you’ve all been waiting for! I hope everyone had a good summer and that those of you who played the World Cup edition have been able to spend some time with family before returning for pre-season.

We have a new look for 26/27 and it’s a bit easier for me to change leagues now, so we could run the competition on L1/L2 over the international breaks. We’ll probably do that at times, particularly over the big break coming up this season.

The Rules

• Each week a selection from the weekends games will be posted up.
• You will be given a virtual tenner to put on either a single, double or treble.
• Simply post your bet from the selections and we'll work out everyone's virtual winnings/losses over the season.
• If you don't use your bet you get -£10 for that week for competition purposes.
• Anyone joining part way through the season will start on the same balance as the lowest in the competition.
• Any bets affected by postponements will be settled using remaining selections. If all selections are cancelled you will get a £20 stake for the next round.

It's Championship and League One up first as the PL aren't back until next week.
