    That's not quite true...

    The six teams finishing 3rd - 8th qualify for the play-offs.  The top two both get automatic promotion.

    Even the Titanic had a bit of money spent on it I believe before it eventually went under. 
    The point being why would you not have a good go at going up on the crest of a wave rather than treading water at best ?

    In that case I have obviously made a Titanic error !  I didn’t realise it was all water under the bridge. I’ll bow out before I get any other stern replies.
