    I do miss standing on that terrace. Could be a bit bleak, but you could get a great view of the game

    Quite educational as well.
    As a kid in the 60s I learnt plenty of new words on that terrace.

    I much prefer this version.

    CharltonLife Verify notes that the advertising board (top right) features Charringtons (which I recall).

    Also, colour wasn't invented until the mid-1960s.  We lived entirely in monochrome until then as all old photos will reveal.
