    On the assumption that the majority on here are metropolitan types down here in very rural East Sussex it really is a massive problem...not just the danger of wildfires but the problems facing the local community that rely on the land for a living

    If you can remember the high pitched squealing sound made by the mandrakes in Harry Potter! Well nothing like that. Just as annoying though.

    After the awful Stourbridge fire, I entirely agree with putting this message out, which highlights how dangerous the current situation is.

    Agree, the tv pictures are horrific. Watching it live yesterday afternoon, it was shocking to see how one house could be completely alight, whilst others were untouched. It shows just how fire can spread via flying embers and sparks. I feel so sorry for all those people who have lost everything.

    Not sure if this is what I would call "proper use" I always thought it was supposed to be imminent danger etc. 

    Once @SELR_addicks said it makes sense to do that before the weekend etc and with what was announced on BBQs etc, feel like it makes a bit more sense though. 

    That's not to say that wildfires are not important and that climate change is some sort of hoax before the usual weirdos decide to try and spin everything
