    Always check the price of anything before you tap your payment. Anyone can honestly put an extra digit on by mistake. I'm surprised by how surprised many vendors are when I ask to see the screen before tapping.

    Any thread on football programmes always reminds me of the late Dave Roberts’ excellent book 32 Programmes detailing a life measured out by football programmes. Difficult to believe nowadays how much a football programme was part of the whole football experience

    last one  I bought, 2/3 seasons ago, it was £3 .. inflation or avin a larf with loyal fans ?

    It's the annual handbook edition,  which is always more expensive

    I was gutted when I gave my collection away when in the process of moving.
    Collecting programmes was always the fabric of attending a match.

    I’ve definitely paid a fiver for the programme/handbook on a few occasions over the years.
