They could just wear one of last season’s away or third kit at West Ham couldn’t they? Same supplier and main sponsor, just chuck the other new sponsors on it.

Just wear red. It’s barely a clash when you see some other team kits which don’t seem to be an issue.

Not sure that would be allowed these days as kits have to be submitted to the EFL. As clubs can name alternative shorts/socks there should be enough options.

Its warm- just play in skins with a bit of black electrical tape for the sponsor and number.

Yeah we have moved on from being train geeks, it's now about planes and Boeing are the kit sponsors.

Bit worried how long it took our own fans to work out 7:47 wasn’t a typo and the relation to 1947.

I don't get the relevance for this kit though.

If it was a plain white shirt with old school cafc lettering instead of the badge, with a big red collar and black shorts, a direct homage to the kit we wore in 1947, then it would make a lot more sense

Don’t let the truth get in the way of good marketing - eg “the red collar and sleeve cuffs bring the club’s traditional colours sharply into the modern day”

Releasing it at 19:47, to try and give some sort of connection to the year 1947, feels a bit desperate.

If anything the colour, if not the style, is more reminiscent of the 1998 playoff final shirt, but that doesn't work with the 24 hour clock, unless you bought your digital watch from Del Boy  :D

Ah yes, the famous cream kit we wore in 1947. Looking forward to the tenuous marketing guff.

That would be a Rodney Trotter watch, as worn by Mickey Mouse.

More tenuous than the home kits 'the stripes are at the same angle as the rake of the seats in the famous Covered End' blurb we got when that one was released
