Fery through to QF of Winston-Salem open. Choinski lost in the opening round.
    Who does he play next?

Some good wins in the US Open qualifiers too - Fearnley, Dart, Jones, Watson, Samuel and Wendelken all though to the last round, with Watson and Dart playing one another. I hadn't realised Choinski was in the main draw

Great to see Wawrinka has got a wildcard due to an American wildcard pulling out

Fery through to the SF at Winston-Salem.
New career high of 35, 1 place below Norrie (live rankings) - shame he couldn't have been seeded in the USO

He plays Duckworth, again in the semi

It will be good if he can at least reach the final.

Great stuff - well done all, but unfortunately Fearnley didn't - have seen a bit of him playing - the number of double faults, especially at key moments seems to be a major issue?

Fearnley through in five sets - won last two sets. Back inside the top 100 in the live rankings.

    Not serving at his best.

His serve has been problematic at times, most times I've watched him - especially double faults and especially at crucial times
  • A decent day for the brits Fery plays today, tough opponent but he can do it
