Leaburns impact should, I think, have been obvious.

Sorry have to disagree, Miles makes an impact coming on a 65-70 min. He has really matured and I think this time next season we will have the finished article.Watameire said:

He is big ,fast and can carry the ball. Keep him as an high energy impact sub rather than sitting up top while the midfield is under the cosh for the whole game with him receiving little or no service.12 -
Brilliant analysis that from Gus. Shows where the stress most of us feel comes from as we take the defending a bit too far in the final stage- just an average 16m from our touchline.
Lovely lot of detail in there too; Coventry in the centre of our passing network was evidenced, and TC closeness to Leaburn up front making the difference to get the win. Fully exploit TC's attributes one of his main conclusions.1 -
Really savvy how he held up his run to stay onside for the second goal. He was a little sloppy with the ball while dribbling at the defender but it certainly helped his confidence as he was excellent after that2

Agreed. We’ve been here before when Miles has a big impact in a game as a sub, we rush him in to the starting 11 and it doesn’t work out. He will get there, I’m certain of that, but personally don’t see a need to rush it. It worked well on Saturday, why not continue with the gameplan.usetobunkin said:

Really enjoyed watching that video, hope he does one after each match. Obviously the headline is about Leaburn but really what the analysis shows is how vital TC is for us. Even considering letting him go is a non-starter. Get him signed up to a new contract and put all that stuff to bed.

Think Chalobah has had a big influence on TC, (and Grant to a lesser degree on TC) and TC is starting to show what a skilful player he can be.
Was a thorn in Derby side all game. 2 goals in 2 games speak for itself.3 -
Interesting video, not sure he fully took into account style of play and reasons for tactical differences. We have a lower defensive line because we have slower defenders for example, Derby's high line is what allowed our attackers pace to be so effective.
I did think his higlighting of Derby attacking the wings was interesting. We now have two more compact central midfielders protecting that area of the pitch and Derby just wanted to get the ball wide to cross to Morris. I suspect this is something that will happen more and more though and our full back tucking in to protect the far post is going to be very important0 -
Yes, Leaburn chnaged the game because his physical attributes unsettled defenders who were previously comfortable.0

I enjoyed that video from Gus despite Lee Bowyer name coming up in text whenever he said Leaburn!
One mistake shown was when Jones went into no mans land and lost out with the header to Fraulo (29) which set Szmodics and Morris to interact and score a decent goal.
On the diagram Gus showed that Bell was still in a LB position but he wasn't, he had come central and Billy did have to turn but he was also central. So that good goal wasn't down to playing just the 2 CB.
Later you could see in the still picture that Bell had moved over as a Derby player was clear on the right but they didn't need to use him.
Hoping that he does more video analysis as it was interesting, even if some was clear to see at the time with a 6f 6in striker being a better target man than a 5ft 10in goal poacher when the ball is in the air and not the deck.
As we all know Miles doesn't always make that impact but Leaburn or Lee Bowyer "if you like" (Curb speak) was excellent in his 48 + 8 minutes AT contribution.0
