Perkalicious coffee bike

Was amazing to see so many of our regulars yesterday! Thank you all so much for your incredible support.

The main feedback I received was that many people struggled to find us. To clear that up, here is a detailed poster (also up on my socials) showing everything on offer this season and exactly where to find us in the Fans' Bar!

P.S. I’m still awaiting confirmation on whether I can trade at the women's games as well. As usual, communication from the club could definitely be improved towards you—the most important people, the fans—as well as myself and independent vendors like Larry’s Cocktail Bar!

I'd venture to add that this was meant for the Fans' Bar thread.

It was the beer in there that allegedly tasted like cat's p*ss !

Doesn't really work when you're the ONLY one who knows.

I wouldn't go anywhere near your business simply because you've used an AI poster. Doesn't take much money to pay someone to design a decent poster for you or much effort to do it yourself. Just makes your business looks cheap if you use AI to design your customer facing poster but each to their own.

Especially when you mention saving the planet in your poster, which is the exact opposite of what using AI to design images does.

I genuinely hope that this poster generates enough new business to make him laugh at your “boycott” (although I doubt you were ever a customer anyway).

Plenty of ways to give feedback without being a class A knob.

Just remind us, who lost their job because of a self made poster?
    Don't believe the bull.

I think the poster does what it says on the tin - why pay someone when you have a small business ?
  • Wow just to let you know I spent hours trying to get the right design until I was happy. Yes I used AI but when you run a business there are so many expenses to factor in sometimes I need that little help. Also now AI is part of our lives whether we like it or not unfortunately.
I just wanted to let the fans know where I am and whats on offer this season especially being in a different location. Im still learning, trying to improve, sometimes I may make mistakes and of course I cant please everyone.
I look forward to serving you on the 29th and for the rest of the season.

Alex who runs Perkalicious also has a full time job as well as running his fab coffee business. Cost of marketing can be expensive, and he’s trying his best as any business owner to keep costs down.

Designing a poster on say Canva takes time and skill. AI is a useful tool.

I wasn't meaning to be a dick and perhaps didn't phrase it the right way due to being drunk in Vietnam (not an excuse but you know). Just my thoughts on businesses using AI to promote themselves. Apologies if it came across badly.

I get where he is coming from. Before the days of AI this restaurant somehow put their peas upside down. No chance I'm going to a gaff with upside down peas.

I think your poster looks great. You've clearly put a lot of thought into this, and I love all of the Charlton detail. If i'm ever in the Fans Bar I'll come and find you to buy a coffeee and a cookie.
