And so it begins … the football is becoming a bit of farce with all these points deductions, although it does benefit us.

If it does happen that’s the 5th different team to get a points deduction in less than a calendar year!

Was expecting Cardiff to come out flying, Wrexham look the much better side so far.

Must be humbling for Cardiff fans. A few years ago they were Prem and Wrexham were irrelevant in non-league. Now Wrexham are one of the most talked about teams in the league and look a much better side.

Hard to tell if Wrexham are great or Cardiff are shite

Cardiff look dreadful too, I thought it would be suicide to play the same way they did in league one in the Championship.

Very young squad with not a lot of physicality or championship experience, I think they could be in trouble, particularly as their manager has a touch of the Russell Martins about them.

I do really rate Ollie Tanner for them though, young RW from Bromley, mentioned him last window when they got relegated but certainly makes a lot more sense now!

Poor from the Cardiff no. 4 to let Moore onside like that. Kind of thing that they wouldn’t have seen / been punished for last season.

The Bowen suck off bonanza has begun.

Just been described as "the best player to ever play in the championship"

Does Danny Dyer's opinion really count ?

After being battered Cardiff are slowly improving.
Just a reminder this is game 1 out of 46 !

Everything about Cardiff is slower than Wankham
  • 12 point deduction for sheff utd (hopefully) and Cardiff looking absolutely clueless.

Just need one more hopeless case and we are safe for another year!

No Arthur O again as Danny Ward is sub keeper and Patterson is the new number one from Sunderland.

No Dobson in the starting line up either.

His return to the valley is still on! :-)

    This obsession with Dobson.

    They're not joining, move on.

This Ollie Tanner looks like Jack Grealish off Temu. Same poncy little socks but 10pc of the talent

Can't see past the fact that Wrexham have game changers and Parkinson lucked out with owners with deep pockets who will buy said players.

Over rated manager and when he leaves Wrexham, that will be seen.

    100% disagree.
In the 5 years since he joined in July 21 he has masterminded Wrexham and it's not just because of the budget he had.
Why would PP go and manage somewhere after taking Wrexham to the brink of the Championship playoffs after 3 promotions and has a job for life at the Welsh club in some capacity.

They are not exactly buying superstars since they have been in the Championship.

PP was at Charlton in 2008-11 and he has learnt so much since those days and got the gig at Wrexham when he knew what it took to rise up the league and I don't just mean money.
    Credit to him.

I just can’t see why we are below the likes of Cardiff in the odds. Just nonsensical. A league one team on paper and they’ve played like it tonight

Wrexham don’t exactly look spectacular either but they haven’t had to be really

Still don’t think Wrexham look as good as Parky needs them to be this season.

They’re a very average championship team. That’s not a knock on them btw. Being and average team in this league is what I’d love us to be. I think they’ve sort of levelled out here for a few years at least

If cardiff's tactic this season is to try and pass teams to death they aren't going to get very far

Parky has been under pressure to perform at Wrexham. Yes he's had money but still easy to mess that up. I'm absolutely sure the Wrexham owners would have got rid of him and brought in a sexier name if Parky had given them any excuse.

Teams and we did it last season seem to fall into a trap of just lumping it into the box against Wrexham, they love it with the big agricultural defenders they have.
