OK staunch defenders of the scheme defend the 2 tickets per person?.

this is literally the only forum of a club where you arent allowed to have an opinion without some pompous reply.
Need to get some friends who can get you one then
sorted by 2pm this afternoon happy days.

still 2 each which is annoying.
    That won’t change anytime soon
    It really should.

Its absurd that some supporters who do a lot of games lose out because someone wants to take his mate/wife/fan of some other club who hasn't been to a charlton game before.
Does anyone who does 'a lot of games' ever miss out?
I have watched over 1000 matches over a 60 year period but only have 500 points I would suggest my "loyalty "
should be worth a million points but hey ho
just behind my 1,000,001 points for selling Charlton scratch cards around Dartford to fund the return to the Valley.

We are in Phase 3 and I guesstimate about 1,700 gone so far.
  • My mate has been a season ticket holder for 52 consecutive seasons. He was told today that he has 515 loyalty points and to call back on Thursday pm. Can that be correct?

If he’s not done any away days yes that sounds about right

Yes, as the phase for 500 points starts on Thursday at 2pm. As per the published phases.

My understanding is that they are giving what they are required to give for the Carabao Cup.
I would imagine at £25 a ticket they are confident they can sell all other tickets to their own fans, that is understandable that they take care of their own supporters.

They are required to give 10% which would be 6,285. Don’t think they should be allowed to hide behind a segregation argument when it’s such a new stadium.

I'm Phase 5 and would be fairly confident that it will get that far if I was intending to go.
The only Phase that looks a bit iffy to me is Phase 7 - VG only giving priority over a ST holder for the last two years. I doubt it will get to Phase 8.

No system is perfect though, but perhaps as suggested already only two tickets per person if one is an under 18, otherwise just one ticket.
I see no way Bob that it doesn’t reach Phase 7. I just don’t think we have got 2,844 fans with 550 points (2*ST+early renewal + 4 aways) and every single one of them taking 2 tickets.

Just doesn’t seem realistic to me. I don’t think there’s been a single game (bar the uniqueness of Cray Valley) where a ticket sale hasn’t included the OR VG level
I agree. It's phase 8 that it won't reach - i.e. supporters who have been ST holders for the last two years.

There are 3,000 VG members - and those that don't qualify for an earlier phase will be able to get 2 tickets at Phase 7 even if they have never been to a single game.
Been a season ticket holder for 20+ years and dont qualify until phase 9 with 495 points. No chance for me🤷‍♂️
The ticket priority points are always favoured to those that go away as this is an away game.  If you do a few aways a season on top of your season tickets you’d be fine.
Yes,i get that, used to do aways all the time but circumstances over the years changed, kids, shift work etc so wasnt possible all the time, just thought I'd be a little higher up the foodchain than 9th phase. It is what it is so hopefully we'll get more tickets🤞

There is a top tier above our allocation (which home fans wont need anyway),
it holds 3k - no point in opening it up for sale early if it’s not needed.

Cops/LA been told 60k are expected, in a 70k stadium.

Well Wembley is new’ too but we still saw unoccupied / unsold seats.

I think the maximum capacity and therefore your percentage calculation may be based on no segregation limitations - say for a concert or the likes of NFL when there are no such concerns.

62,850  is the capacity, and you will lose seats for extra segregation when giving away fans more than the usual lower tier section.

Have had a season ticket continuously since 1971 apart front two seasons during the Roland Resistance. Which I regret. Buying game by game was a drag.
Not in Valley Gold so have to chance it on Thursday.

@JohnBoyUK can you see on the Spurs system whether they are selling to Spurs fans the blocks that would be given to away team if allocation was higher?
