Definitely signs of improvement from 24/25 onwards, apart from Ahadme of course.
Some of them before have a tinge of relegation to them.
Was only Dobson keeping us up some years.

Good to see the improvements we’ve made along the way.

Jones and Campbell starting four seasons in a row says a lot about them and how important they are to us.

Interesting ( and frightening ) to see that every season we've had a different goalkeeper to the previous one.

We might find a decent one eventually.

We really started a league season with a back four of Barker, Pratley, Oshilaja and Purrington. And we won that game as well. Bloody hell.

21/22 was an absolute disgrace. Yet we had Thomas Sandgaard on the pitch playing guitar. Absolutely ridiculous

We didn't get many clean sheet wins that year, did we?

Interesting that we had seven players from last season's opening XI in last week's team. That might well have been eight given that Godden wasn't fit to play until January. Just goes to show that we have more stability than we have had in years albeit that we need more than we had last season, as a squad, to climb the division.

And yet Jacko did really well with that group, as tedious is was to watch at the end of the season.  Also memorable tor Adkins refusing to play Dobbo .

To be fair Dobson was absolutely terrible for Adkins in the brief bits where we saw him. Didn't suit Adkins' set up at all and wouldn't have been helped by Adkins clearly not wanting him but him and Sean Clare with Morgan in front of them ended up being one of the worst midfield setups we've ever had

Am surprised Tommy boy didn't try to get Sandgaard  Jr a place in the squad.
Can't have been much worse than Gilbey.

    .
  • I'm surprised to see four of the starters against Derby were there two years ago (Mannion, Jones, Coventry and Campbell), plus it may well have been five if Ramsay had been fit. How many will play in the first game of next season, I wonder.
