Either that or he fell over at home, like TK did!DennisBooth said:So Mannion had got a shoulder injury, as I thought.0 -
Mbick and Mwamba will come in and both put in performances that will shut all you whining muppets up10

I genuinely don’t think supporting Charlton is for you. Godden and Kelman are injured. What else could he do? Grant can play there if needed. Chill out FFS!golfaddick said:Striking options get worse every week.
Are we saying that's is all we have up front ? Leaburn & Mbick ??
Sheesh.5 -
Are we winning yet?1

Change your system this early and the message you’re giving the squad is “you’re not good enough in this shape to properly compete”Garrymanilow said:Fascinated that we've stuck with four at the back. I kind of thought that we might revert to the 352 in tougher away games but there must be a sense that West Ham can be got at today which is exciting. Nice to think we're at least going to try and make them miserable the fun way before going back to defending later in the season no doubt8 -
The fact that Docherty is now behind Coventry, Chalobah, JRC, and Mwamba...I know a lot including myself would like to keep him as hes a great guy, but think he's going to leave1

Do we need to get at scarles?0

Anyone having problems with the stream (VPN), can't seem to get a connection?

As a heads up for everyone when they arrive, one of the clubs has messed up the seat numbers. I bought the seat at the back of the lower tier, closest to the goal. My ticket is for the front row by the corner flag...

As much as people don’t want to hear it, the expectation on Mbick based on a good loan spell at Colchester is a bit too much, he may well become a cracking player but as usual Charlton fans getting far too carried away IMHO.5

Wasn’t Carey Grant a Hollywood actor?3

It's a very interesting one because you'd think if - against all odds - we're holding on to a 1-0 lead towards the end of the game you'd very much want to bring on the bloke who covers every blade of grass and gets himself in front of the ball as much as possible. JRC, Knibbs and Mwamba all getting in ahead of him would indicate that it's time for Doc to start looking for another club sadly. Having said that though, we're one inevitable Chalobah injury away from Doc starting a game if Ouma still isn't ready yetDDOUBLEE said:The fact that Docherty is now behind Coventry, Chalobah, JRC, and Mwamba...I know a lot including myself would like to keep him as hes a great guy, but think he's going to leave1 -

Exactly this, I don’t know why people are even suggesting changing it, I bet NJ hasn’t for a second, trust in the process and the 4 defenders, keeper and two in front. Be brave not bottlers, thank fuck CL don’t manage the team.fenaddick said:

Godden's body seems to be giving out on him at this age. I wonder if the renewal might not prove wise with hindsight.0

Cheers mate, but I was trying to find a country to land in, but settled in Spain...PragueAddick said:

No-one has suggested changing the formation on this thread, been quite positive so far. I was wondering if Jones would revert to 352 given his tendency towards safety first but as I said, I'm glad he didn'tSword65pf said:

God, I can't do this for another season5 -
With the standard of academy we have, its to be expected that we have youngsters coming in that can make an impact at Championship level. Mwamba and Mbick are the next 2 IMO.
Lets not forget the prem years when we had the likes of Brownie, Rufus, Konchesky, Parker et al .... and Konsa, Lookman and Gomez since.... we have always had a strong talent pool.6 -
It has been mentioned on here and on some you tube previews, unlike you to pick me up on something🙄Garrymanilow said:
