Another big positive is scoring more than one goal again. I think that's the first time we've managed to score multiple goals for three consecutive games since January 2025.
But no clean sheets, Golfie won't be happy.
Don't care about clean sheets. Just score more than your opponents. End of.

Just out of interest, from those who went, what was the stadium like? As bad as people say? Atmosphere from the home fans? Presume it was good from you lot but is it easy to generate a good noise there?
Miles from pitch, hard to identify players (tho I was a long way back). West Ham were completely quiet except when they scored and for a bit after. Didn't hear a single chant

Yes, I was in the lower tier and we were making all of the noise. The view from the lower tier isn’t bad either. Not a peep from the West Ham fans, but then again the stadium is designed to make you sit back and enjoy your popcorn.

Can anyone explain what the 'collecting receipts'  thing is about? Oh and who exactly do I sue at CAFC because I couldn't get a ticket?
It's calling people out for what they did/said - with 'receipts' i.e. evidence.

It's a social media cliche, up there with "cry more" and "rent free."

Sounds so shit compared to the Boleyn. I’m actually a bit sad they left. Such an atmospheric old ground. Oh well. At least it’s taken them to the next level 😂

Awful and soulless. Only heard their fans 4 times- twice when they sang along with bubbles before each half started, after they scored they did some clapping for about 3 mins and when they got the penalty. A toss up between them and Fulham for worst/quietest home crowd

The plums on NJ for bringing on the kids in that and it going our way.
  • Oh, and by the way, Palace are in the bottom 3!
    And it gets even better.

Sarr is refusing to play, Mateta is arguing his contract is invalid and a defender was carried off today with a serious knee injury.

Make sure you are in the lower tier,  which is shallow but fairly near the pitch. Fairly open there, so the noise dissipates I imagine.

The only noise from the home fans was after they scored. Quite a few started leaving after 87 minutes.

Popped into Westfield afterwards, quite a few Happy Hammers there. You didn't have a massive shopping centre next to the Boleyn, all hail the porn kings for moving West Ham...

Loved that TC came over to the fans after he scored. Certainly didn't look like someone on the way out

And didn't look out of place. Took the piss by out muscling two West Ham players then dancing round to carry the ball away.

    Another talent coming through.

    That was excellent from
start to finish even when the ref put on the West Ham shirt and gave them a ridiculous pen they could not break us … superb everyone one of them but there are two for special mention MOM was Leaburn absolutely superb never gave them a moments peace .. and Campbell that’s the best performance ever seen from him that’s what we expect to see ….. I hope we make wholesale changes on Wed  cause Preston at home is far more important and a great chance to go 3 out of 3 … COYR

Welcome to the Championship West Ham. Yes they have some quality,  but looked pretty ordinary today for much of the game. And struggled to deal with Miles and TC. And dismal defending for the LJ overhead  :D

An excellent away performance. We looked really good in the first half, and reverted a bit to 25/26 Charlton in the second, not keeping the ball and a bit lacking in energy up front.

Mwamba was quite effective when he came on, but it was a situation taylor made for Doc.

Really? I'm sure he would have nerves...first league game infront of 60k would be understandable when you are used to Sparrows Lane! But I really thought he grew into the game and it was easy to see that he is an outrageous talent.
