    Annoyingly half of the piccadilly line is closed this week by the looks of it, so getting to Wood Green is a mission for this. 

    I'm going to attempt to get to White Hart Lane station and just hope for the best and that it doesn't go to pens at full time, going to be a mission to get back to Waterloo after the game

    15 minute walk to Northumberland Park
    Train to Tottenham Hale
    Victoria Line to Oxford Circus
    Bakerloo to Waterloo
    An hour all in.

    Leave the ground at 21.45pm be at Waterloo at 22.50pm. 

    Been told by a few friends who’ve been there before that it takes ages to get out of the ground from the away end apparently, I just hope it’s not a game where I might regret leaving before full time! 
    That's because the away fans are in the ground celebrating victory, while the Spurs fans are sneaking off early  :D

    About to start the journey - leave home in half an hour for 3.5 hour drive to Glasgow Airport to fly down to Stansted. I do hope the forecast heavy showers / storms don’t disrupt anything!!

    Oh ffs ! There I was constantly telling myself there must be something wrong with me supporting Cafc from north wales and balancing that with hey it shows you love the club ! But then along comes someone that demonstrates I’m a wimp !

    YES!  Very strict.  The bag has to be A4 sized or small, or a clear carrier bag.
    Bag drop is just outside the outer cordon South Stand on Park Lane but the queues can be horrific.

    If you can avoid taking a bag, it will make your life a whole lot easier.

    I did have that in mind this morning when I left at 5:50am.  Left my laptop at home, only brought a small rucksack to hide under my desk with a change of clothes and my spurs shirt, but stupidly left my security pass in my other laptop.  Got there at 7:15am with no way of getting in.  Security took pity on me and let me in after 15 mins of waiting at reception.

    Plans for today.  Supposed to be meeting my old chum @AFKABartram for a beer beforehand around Liverpool St then off to meet my Spurs pals in either the Bluecoats or the Beehive then a little walk to the stadium before I spend 90 mins tutting, questioning my life choices.

    Tops me and Mrs TT. We have a 2hr drive to Taunton, a very expensive train to Paddington and a b&b next to Paddington because the very expensive train doesn't run late enough to return tonight.

    Having said that I know if others from the SW doing the same, and who went to West Ham too.

    Yes. A real pain in the arse. The only other time I've been there (their first league game at the stadium against Man City) there was a bag drop off place but it costs £10.

    Believe you me, when you're leaving the stadium after being battered by Arsenal/Chelsea/West Ham/why name clubs when we lose more often than we win these days/ again, and its absolutely pissing down and you've got that walk back to Seven Sisters to look forward to... after paying out £75 a ticket and another £75 on train/food/beer... it can feel like the Arctic Circle and a VERY long way home.

    What's it like getting train from Liverpool street on a matchday , all trains rammo ?.....best to get on one by a certain time ?

    Busy but not ridiculous. Some trains at commuter times are obviously rammed.
    WHL trains usually depart from the lower numbered platforms (1-5). 
    Often on match days Stanstead trains stop additionally at Northumberland Park. These rarely get overcrowded.

    I try and get on one of those and do the extra 10 minute walk at the other end.
