This is excellent news as the boy is on fire at the moment. Credit to Nathan though too. Hes a man who has improved many players and TC is one of them. Nice that TC has rewarded his faith in him by signing a new deal. Big season for him now. COYA5

That season we had Wigan away first game and we had a corner and I didn’t recognise him was when it began to click , he’d properly beefed up and added some muscle and strength to what was a tiny frame .
Hes been our only real attacking threat for a few years , played due to desperation and a weak injured squad in the wrong possy a few times but now a bit more freedom and improvement he’s flourished , just hope he’s not a Shaun Bartlett who once contract was signed his form slid off .
Was not keen on him pre the bulking up , he’s worked hard to get where he is , good luck to him and us !4 -

look at the lad's goals in our promotion season. He doesn't score bad goals. I commented preciously how these goals proved the lad has a finish on him and it is a case of getting confidence at the level and letting his attributes shine through. All good players mentioned but I don't think any of them are as good at doing what Campbell does as him. That doesn't mean they don't have other elements to their game.2

What he needs is a bit of time and space to finish. He wasn’t getting that last season because he was our only threat the opposition could pay a lot of attention to him. Yep that’s my point. I’m sure he works a lot on his finishing but I doubt it’s got massively better, he’s just getting a bit more time and space than he had last season, like he seemed to have in league 1 where he was scoring goalswmcf123 said:

And if you were his father I’m sure he’d be embarrassed. The guy is in the top 0.0001% in the world (or something minuscule like that) for footballing talent. So what if he’s shy and not a great orator or stand up comedian? I enjoyed hearing from him and particularly seeing him smile - it was anything but painful.18

He’s paid to play football, not have a camera shoved in his face and to answer questions.
He seems such a sweet, shy kid who other managers and players seem to really appreciate and who just loves playing football.
Long may he have that smile on his face and play just like he is in this interview by messing around with his mates.13
