    @golfaddick The 149 bus appears to be operating a near normal service from London Bridge to Edmonton via Tottenham despite the strike action by staff at Arriva.

    I used that bus once just to see what it was like. Couldn't make my mind up if I was on the set of Escape From New York or 28 Days Later.

    Got a meeting in the London office late this afternoon, that must be in-person. So my boy is with me on a work experience day - before we do Liverpool St, McDs, get in ground early for meet-ups and a beer.

    Beehive best if you are going to Seven Sisters and walking. Antwerp Arms if you are going via WHL station.

    @JohnBoyUK how strict are they on their bag policy? I’ve applied for a medical exemption but not had a reply, I’ve also emailed and called but not heard back. 

    I don’t need a huge rucksack but needs to be bigger than their size restrictions

    Is anyone familiar with the pubs within striking distance of Finsbury Park station?

    Tottenham Hotspur Stadium enforces an extremely strict bag policy where any personal bag larger than A4 size (21cm long x 30cm high / 8.2in x 11.8in) is completely prohibited.

    A bag the same size as your print at home ticket.

    Been to the Worlds End near Finsbury Park for a couple of birthday parties and been alright.

    As above by @TBWAH, dont risk it.  Otherwise you've got a lengthy bag drop queue to contend with before and after and they'll charge you for the privilege.

    Er, for all of you heading to the Beehive, can you not get there until 6:30pm please, I want to get a pint of Neck Oil before you all turn up and clog the bar up FFS lol.

    As above by @TBWAH, dont risk it.  Otherwise you've got a lengthy bag drop queue to contend with before and after and they'll charge you for the privilege.

    Top tip. If you get there early enough, the Beehive does (or at least did) 2 pint glasses. Saves on those trips to the bar. Probably by as much as 50%.

    We are lucky to have @johnboyuk and @tbwah with us at this difficult time. I hope all these questions don't result in a slew of complaints afterwards when we have lost heavily, no-one got away for their last train on time, half was held up in a bag queue and only a few could get to a local bar for a drink.

    I lived near Bruce Grove in the late 80s as a student, the classic divey house share, so the walk up Tottenham High Road always brings back memories.

    The Elbow Room was our local, back then it was one the first Wetherspoons. Which seems amazing now, considering how small it is inside!
