Things can change. Yes Jones said only one more in and it’ll likely be JRS. But what if Holsgrove wasn’t an option before but is now based on circumstances? If the club rate him that much then I’m sure a deal could be done. His wages probably wouldn’t be too high at Estoril. If we got him in but offset it with JRC going out then the outlay wouldn’t be too much, as I would assume JRC commands a higher wage.Also - the start to the season might have convinced the owners to spend a little more8

While you likely are completely right and that will probably be it, especially if NJ has said it, but then again as we’ve seen over the years things can change very quickly in the window, especially at this point. NJ said just a RW and no more, surely people are saying they don't trust him 🤔I for one, and most likely many others too fully expected Holsgrove to have signed for someone by now, and by the sounds of things it didn’t seem like it was going to be us securing him given the clubs interested and the money they were able to willingly chuck out, but already 2 games into the season and less than a week left of the window, he’s still an Estoril player, and I haven’t actually seen any real recent rumours for him, barring some two bob QPR wannabe journalist asking what fans thought of him and that’s it.I’m not saying we’ll get him, but given what stjohnshill mentioned the other day and the fact we’ve seemingly always been big admirers of him, I wouldn’t be surprised to see us try and swoop in on him late if he hasn’t signed for anyone else, despite what has been said.0 -
