  • Sorry lads not been able to read through the pages  but is someone able to help ? What route is best to take from either London Bridge or Charing Cross ? I’ve tried searching it on the Trainline app and it’s coming up with ridiculous times. Much appreciated

Charing Cross - Northern to Warren Street, Victoria to Seven Sisters.

London Bridge - walk or bus to Liverpool street. Train to Northumberland Park or Seven Sisters. Alternatively, Northern to Kings Cross and then Victoria to Seven Sisters.

I would get Northern Line to Morgate from London Bridge. Walk to Liverpool Street and get the overgound (Weaver Line) to White Hart Lane. Will be very busy at WHL though.

We are lucky to have @johnboyuk and @tbwah with us at this difficult time. I hope all these questions don't result in a slew of complaints afterwards when we have lost heavily, no-one got away for their last train on time, half was held up in a bag queue and only a few could get to a local bar for a drink.
I think they are Hammers fans getting they’re  own back😜
I've been called some stuff on here in the last 20 years but that takes the biscuit.
  • Thanks lads !

Is anyone familiar with the pubs within striking distance of Finsbury Park station?
    Appreciate any helpful info.

The Blackstock is two minutes walk, from there, and another one opposite which name escapes me.

'Proper' pub The Blackstock, went to a christening there many moons ago....rough as Fuc. and that was the wife's cousins husbands family.

@JohnBoyUK how strict are they on their bag policy? I’ve applied for a medical exemption but not had a reply, I’ve also emailed and called but not heard back.

I don’t need a huge rucksack but needs to be bigger than their size restrictions
Still not heard anything back from them… wankers

Similar experience at The Beehive when I was there last. Leaving do for my mate who was going travelling for a year. Ended up in a punch up between her uncles and other extended family members, beer and glass flying, women and kids screaming as it spilled out onto the high road.

Apparently it's a poncy gastropub for middle-class clones/craft beer aficionados now!

show them the email you sent on the way in, surely that'll give you some leeway.

But stewards can be a-holes at the best of times.

    Good luck!

Hamilton Hall, located within the bustling Liverpool Street Station, is a Grade 2* listed building that was once the Ballroom for the Great Eastern Hotel. The building is ... named after Lord Claud Hamilton, the Chairman of The Great Eastern Railway Company (1893–1923). Today, it serves as a JD Weatherspoon pub.

    * Look up to see some amazing plasterwork

If nothing else, The Beehive was decent. A happy mix of home and away fans before the game. Popped in afterwards too to let the crowds die down.
