With our best team and Spurs being in the state they are right now, I honestly think we could have given them a game. I do understand why we need to rest people, though.  On that basis, I'll be okay with 1) not getting thrashed 2) not picking up any injuries 3) seeing Ouma, preferably from the start 4) being able to get a beer before the game starts as I'm not gonna get there til 7:15pm!

Plenty of charlton shirts at New Eltham Station and more on the train too.

    Charlton are massive.

I'm not I'm colours due to being sat in the wrong end... and not being 12 years old.

Seen a few Charlton shirts at Cheshunt station.

We're attacking the buggers from all flanks!

Been told the number of changes is HIGH tonight. Makes sense but if suffer a heavy defeat fans will question it

6 or 7 is one thing. 11 is unnecessary but let’s see how high, high is

Up to NJ on the number of changes he makes - but the league is way more important.  We are never going to win the thing - better to get some minutes into players that haven't been used much.  Surely the majority of fans going would expect that.  Don't mind losing as we are expected to do so - just don't want a heavy defeat.

Agreed, anyone who didn’t expect wholesale changes is naive

Don't have any issue with 11 changes. Would take a loss tonight and win Saturday every day of the week!

Surely he just asks them who wants to play and goes from there... EDIT: Not many volunteers from the first team then

Expected some changes but not that many. At the end of the day if we win on Saturday a heavyish defeat will soon be forgotten, although i think we will give them a decent game tonight

Players pushing for a first team place. Time for them to show their mettle.

To be honest that’s how I feel.

Bit like an EFL trophy game for me. Dont care about the result, so don’t feel stressed, and happy to watch and see how players like Ouma, Mesik, Alli etc perform.

NJ states he thinks neither Collins or Billy injuries are short term..... brilliant eh
