Created a thread for the discussion and updates of the squad’s injuries last season, so doing the same for the current campaign.
Already got the following players on the sidelines:
Edwards, Kelman, Ramsay, Godden, Burke, Mannion, Collins and Koumetio.

Can I be the first to ask, what was the point of signing Burke given his injuries history? Of course 🤔…….. he played for Luton1

In fairness to the medical team, Edwards impact injury, Kelman impact injury, Collins looks ACL, Mannion is unclear but a shoulder injury probably is impact. Pretty sure Ramsay was impact. Did we ever replace Dr Will Abbott?
Seems we had a much better injury record when he was running the medical side.

Though there is an argument that with Collins his adapting to the intensity of the championship hasnt been handled well on the sports science front and that twice he has carried on with an injury when he should have come off.5

Like, I think Conor Coventry is a good example. If it's up to Abbott, he doesn't play last winter at all3

And if Nathan Jones has a serious flaw, it's his belief and faith in players who can still physically move, putting in every effort to represent the club, extracting everything from themselves rather than quitting. Sometimes you have to quit4

The double mishandling of Sichenje has honestly made me so angry, it's some of the worst player management I've ever seen6

Well that for starters. Of course Steve Brown often points out that the player himself insists on trying to play on. But anyone who watched Sichenje’s two incidents would have to conclude that this wasnt the case here. Edwards case may have been more the player’s insistence.wmcf123 said:

NJ has described Godden's injury as "self inflicted" and from "doing extra". Didn't sound happy about it
