West Ham tickets sold out in 15 minutes today. Over a dozen sell outs last season. And selling quickly with high demand.Maybe we should swap grounds. A 27k seater would do us nicely and 19/20k seems to be your limit these days. No brainer really 😉😘6 -

We saved you once by letting you use the Valley, not doing it again8 -

Your average attendance was 17,135 last season. Decent but no real improvement from 2023.MillwallFan said:

Selling out West Ham in 15 mins not really an achievement is it. Be embarrassing if you didn't 😘3 -

Probably West Ham that brought the tickets, they have 40,000 more fans than the Spanners after all.

Thing is that’s not fair off a sell out for us. The midweek games brought our average attendance down a tad but we sold out nearly every weekend or bank holiday game. Same the season before. I think it was only Preston at home last season that we didn’t sell out that was a weekend game, so the demand is there at the moment. Obviously the away crowd can also affect the average attendance.cs1986 said:

But the speed they went, we could probably sell 30k plus for that easily. Obviously it was a little dig about swapping grounds but in truth a 27k ground would suit us perfectly at the moment. That could all change though as you well know. I don’t think either of us are big enough to sustain big crowds when things go a bit shit.0 -
I dont think you guys would do much more than you do now unless its for big games.MillwallFan said:

Although the changes down there have made it more accessible for families now. I have a few mates that take their kids now there.
We certainly dont get the same drop off you get when we play in league 1. Not much chance of that for you guys anyway the way things have been for you lately.0 -

Bank Holiday Weekend factor or at a minimum of 30 pounds for an adult ticket these days
Will be interesting to see what the QPR Wednesday home game and the Portsmouth Gold Prices game, how the attendances are then.3 -
2 adults and 2 u12 for £50 was a great deal, anyone know if there are plans to do this again. ?0

Both away ends will be sold out so it will surely mean a 20k gate.shirty5 said:

Anything less will be Charlton fans voting with their feet.0 -
They should make this a permanent deal in the two blocks nearest to the away fans in the East Stand.shine166 said:2 adults and 2 u12 for £50 was a great deal, anyone know if there are plans to do this again. ?2 -
Seemed noticeably less tourists in the East Stand today. Not sure why1

Speaking of which there was a Belgian neutral in the crowd near me when he announced his nationality to those around him he was met with queries as to whether he was a duchatelet spy3

Last Preston day was Gentry day when they wear suits and bowler hats. Much smaller turn our from them yesterday.
That over 17k is now seen as a low gate shows how much crowds, and expectations have increased.5 -

The weather forecast was always bad for Saturday and when do tourists book their tickets ?
The most tourists I have ever since at the Valley was Birmingham at home in March (1-0 Kelman) when I saw 3 big groups of Americans and 1 group of Germans outside the west stand. One of the group was a female squad of teenage college footballers from Florida, a New York sounding group of around 30, plus a group of Seniors with sparkly teeth from Salt lake city !
I was people watching and chatting while waiting for family who were on a delayed coach from Kent.
The crowd was 18,541 with (3,321 away)
