    I'm haunted by the person saying Dykes would be a better signing than him in the transfer thread a few weeks ago and getting 27 unanswered lols. Our fans can be such idiots sometimes

    Just like you writing Godden off because of 3 wins, when there's plenty of time for him to come in and have an impact.

    Think it’s harder in this setup, when you play direct and on second balls like last year ball is going to ricochet to him at some point doesn’t get that this year and we’re also not supplying chances.

    Way we use Leaburn is to batter defences and support/link play to the 3 in behind who all look very much like goalscorers

    Hearing that Bell played through an injury will worry fans more than impress them!
    I hope we're referring to his hand injury. I've noticed tape on a couple of fingers this season.

    Pretty sure the tape has always been there, it's a thing about not snapping your wrist

    Lots of footballers now wear tape around their wrists/fingers.

    At this point I think it’s more of a ‘fashion’ statement than practical for most of them.

    I’ve actually just seen that he’s strapped his fingers together too so you were right there, they look broken. Not impossible it’s what NJ was talking about

    Can't expect Nathan to let go of Luke Berry and Matt Godden in the same window. He would be crushed.

    I’m struggling with all the criticism of Godden. He started season as first choice after all. I think we need to be patient, it’s a long season, we will need the whole squad and I’m sure he will play a key part. We are more creative now and if that means more chances for godders it means more goals

    Because Godden is better than Kelman imo. Quite simple. The runs he makes are a different class.

    The question that continually arises is why do we have so many serious injuries to players at the start of the season, this has been the case for many seasons now.

    I was against him being offered a new contract and so far i seem to be correct

    An extension of a year was the least we owed him after we made him run around on one leg for about 10 minutes, undoubtedly making any injury he had far worse.

    Because Godden is better than Kelman imo. Quite simple. The runs he makes are a different class.
    No I completely agree but because we’ve spent so much on Kelman there’s pressure to utilise him especially as Godden won’t be around for the long term I feel like we persist with Kelman. 

    At the very least even when injured we know Godden is going to offer a hell of a lot off the pitch
