Tidy if unspectacular going forward. I suspect I'll be able to copy and paste this a few more times this year.JONES: 8.5 - won everything in the air. Looking better on the ball. Seems to be adapting to a back four. I think Bell, with his recovery pace and covering tendency.MESIK: 8 Good looking player. A little sloppy at times but looks an agent of (good) chaos.BELL: 7.5 One slip aside he looked after the ball well and did his normal recovering act while Jones stepped up.COVENTRY: 8 - A little sloppy in the first half followed by absolute ripping PNE open in the second half with his passing. New contract time.CHALOBAH: 7.5 - Getting some stick on here but when he dropped deeper in the first half is when we started controlling the game. Always has that extra second on the ball.CAMPBELL 8 - He is just bursting with confidence and opposition defenses don't know what to do with him.CAREY: 6 - leads the press well but the game largely passed him by.GRANT: 8 - His movement from the 10 helped change the game.LEABURN: 8.5 MOTM - He battles. He beings the ball down out of the air. He runs at defenses. He is becoming a modern target man who can do everything you need him to. All that's missing is goals right now but that's OK. Others around him will score if he keeps playing this way.ALLI: 7.5 - RW is not his natural position but he's adapting to it so well.MWAMBA: 7.5 - maybe he doesn't need a loan (he won't get one as he doesn't count toward the squad #s). Full of running and energy. Good on the ball. COVENTRY: 7 Got involved, but I wish he would reduce his backward passing.
CHALOBAH: 5.5 He walked through most of the game and it was he & Carey that weren't getting involved in the first half when Preston dominated posesssion.
CAMPBELL 8 Caused them problems all game.
CAREY: 4.5 He just doesn't contribute enough (Mr Invisible).
GRANT: 7.5 Played well and he took his half chance superbly. Wonderful finish.
LEABURN: 8.5 MOM best game for Charlton?
ALLI: 8 I thought he was excellent.
MWAMBA: 8 Absolutely wonderful game. Him and Alli changed the game.
MBICK: 4.5 I've not seen him do anything to suggest he'll come good. But he surely must as the experts rate him highly.
