Makes for an easy house search.
Also I believe the first mother and son to have played at the world cup.
Mum Jenny is an American but married Brendon Bindon a New Zealand Volleyball player and moved to New Zealand and qualified to play for the Kiwi's as a keeper and had 77 caps.
Tyler and Jenny Bindon sound like good guests for Bromley Addicks ?
Good work to get Tyler Bindon in quickly as competition/cover for one of the 2 CB positions with Sichenje out long term, Bell never 100% fit, Billy unknown, and Burke AKA Mr Swarovski.

Great to see the club get this done so quickly.9 -
Been a long while since we would even be considered for a move like this ! Not counting chickens but look 2 years back and wonder where we will be in 2 years time ?2

Great work. Will mean we dont need to rush or over play Billy as well.6

Quality signing, welcome to the club. StJohnsHill 👏2

Can you say Brendan Bindon ten times in a row really quickly?soapboxsam said:Henry Irving said:His mum is a coach for London City Lionesses so I assuming living near their Bromley base.

He must have been on a list of some sort - that’s too high quality to be an instant turnaroundstoneroses19 said:Considering this was a rush job after last Wednesday’s injuries, very happy with the quality of defender we’ve brought in at such short notice.5 -
Sounds like a good signing but hope this doesn't mean Collins is out for most of the season. We dropped a few mill on him and he seemed promising.0

Welcome Tyler!0

I believe his Mum is back in Auckland coaching.0

An ACL is usually 6-9 months so don't expect to see him until March at the earliestbalham red said:Sounds like a good signing but hope this doesn't mean Collins is out for most of the season. We dropped a few mill on him and he seemed promising.1 -
Its really good to get the 18 year old Australian on board.22

Chapple did an interview with MOD mag last season where he explained that a big part of his role is to have an extensive database of players which is constantly updated so if they become available or if we have a particular need ie a tall left sided CB, the club already has data, scouting reports and comments on their personality to hand.DamoNorthStand said:

So we may have tracked a player for a long term but when required can move quickly for a known person.
Probably something most clubs do these days but more than we were doing two seasons ago.
We also benefit from having the same head of recruitment and manager, who have worked together before, for more than 6 months.
PC and NJ shared an office at Sparrows Lane in 2012.15 -
I expected the club to have a list of potential targets, covering all positions on the pitch just in case of late injuries, and indeed unexpected transfer developments. If a club makes a "too big to turn down" bid for one of our "stars", you can't suddenly start thinking about replacements on Tuesday morning.DamoNorthStand said:

Impressive though to have 2 CBs injured on Wednesday evening, and have a replacement effectively lined up 24 hours later. Even if we wanted Bindon, you still need to get the player to agree to the move, and I'm sure other clubs were interested.3 -

Probably helps our case that Bindon is going to get a lot of minutes here, so Forest would have been keen on the deal too as they'll want him playing so he can develop.3

Rodwell has even added a comment..
Can’t the comms team come up with a new template to accompany our news any more? 😉😀0 -
I assume if we have been tracking for a while all that’s (importantly) changed is how much we were prepared to pay.Sensible expense it feels0

I have mixed feelings about this. He was excellent in league one and we need cover at cb but the few times I saw him play last year he was quite poor. Hopefully I just saw a few of his clunkers and is better than that.0

How about: Tyler Bindon dons his bins to tidily tie up bins.North Lower Neil said:

Great signing btw - seem to remember him playing well at the WC0 -
If he plays Wednesday I hope he keeps Mesik at LB instead of Bell10

Can’t be any worse than sicknote Burke surely3

we had got used to various players just turning up, with their boots, straight from the Belgian ferry.Henry Irving said:

I know this is a favourite Charlton CL pastime assuming that every new player whether on loan or permanent is going to replace who we already have !
Ouma was going to take Coventry's place according to some posters ! Not just yet.
If Tyler goes straight in it must mean Bell is joining Sichenje, Billy, and Burke in the medical room.
I heard everyone raving about Knibbs after his time at Reading but so far he hasn't lived up to the billing as he had a stop start 25/26 season and can't get on too often in the 26/27 campaign other than cup games.
Sounds like he fits the bill but is still raw at 21 and NJ will surely only play him on merit once we have a perm any 2 CB from 4 or 5.
Maybe that's why Nathan isn't over keen on loans other than an emergency as he doesn't want that scenario when the parent club expect the loanee to play most games.
I hope Bindon is brilliant and we sign him but I'm old school and I like to see the player play first before assessing their pros and cons 👍🏻4 -
