When mum Jenny started playing and coaching again after Tyler's birth the 'Football ferns' all took turns in looking after him as Jenny took him along to her place of work.2 -
Easy mate, I’m in a good mood, no need to bring that dark past up hahafenaddick said:We have fantastic competition in that back line once Koumetio is fit. Not long ago Thomas and Hector were starting5 -

How about: Tyler Bindon dons his bins to tidily tie up bins.North Lower Neil said:
Can you say Brendan Bindon ten times in a row really quickly?soapboxsam said:Henry Irving said:His mum is a coach for London City Lionesses so I assuming living near their Bromley base.
Makes for an easy house search.
Also I believe the first mother and son to have played at the world cup.
Mum Jenny is an American but married Brendon Bindon a New Zealand Volleyball player and moved to New Zealand and qualified to play for the Kiwi's as a keeper and had 77 caps.
Tyler and Jenny Bindon sound like good guests for Bromley Addicks ?
Good work to get Tyler Bindon in quickly as competition/cover for one of the 2 CB positions with Sichenje out long term, Bell never 100% fit, Billy unknown, and Burke AKA Mr Swarovski.
Great signing btw - seem to remember him playing well at the WCTyler Bindon been to Lincoln scoring top bins0 -
NJ did say Bell was playing with an injury.soapboxsam said:sam3110 said:Probably helps our case that Bindon is going to get a lot of minutes here, so Forest would have been keen on the deal too as they'll want him playing so he can develop.
I know this is a favourite Charlton CL pastime assuming that every new player whether on loan or permanent is going to replace who we already have !
Ouma was going to take Coventry's place according to some posters ! Not just yet.
If Tyler goes straight in it must mean Bell is joining Sichenje, Billy, and Burke in the medical room.
I heard everyone raving about Knibbs after his time at Reading but so far he hasn't lived up to the billing as he had a stop start 25/26 season and can't get on too often in the 26/27 campaign other than cup games.
Sounds like he fits the bill but is still raw at 21 and NJ will surely only play him on merit once we have a perm any 2 CB from 4 or 5.
Maybe that's why Nathan isn't over keen on loans other than an emergency as he doesn't want that scenario when the parent club expect the loanee to play most games.
I hope Bindon is brilliant and we sign him but I'm old school and I like to see the player play first before assessing their pros and cons 👍🏻0 -

Neil, I tried and by the time I got to the tenth time I said 🗣️ Bindan bread bin1 -
Terrific signing and just what we needed after losing 2 central defenders at Tottenham
I don't as a rule like loans, but this one's ideal., a short(ish) arrangement to cover an area where we are vulnerable, at least for (possibly) a few months3 -
This transfer movement is very unlike Charlton.
Bindon is a good Championship defender. We got a few injuries and moved quick to find a replacement. The type of behaviour you expect to see from the likes of Norwich, Boro etc.
If I keep eating humble pie like this, I'll have to go up a jeans size.
Welcome to the biggest club in South London Bindon.23 -

Bell is an injury risk as we've seen, so we'd be sensible not playing him Sat-Wed-Sat-Wed as we currently have.soapboxsam said:sam3110 said:Probably helps our case that Bindon is going to get a lot of minutes here, so Forest would have been keen on the deal too as they'll want him playing so he can develop.

So Bindon and Mesik will be definitely getting games next couple of weeks.3 -
Speaks very well, I’m looking forward to watching play2

Curious to know why the article says his debut could be under the Valley Lights on 9th September.....does he have a clause in the loan deal that means in doesn't have to travel to West Brom or Stoke?4

Quite possibly the most eloquent and polite signing I can remember.
I know he’s not paid for public speaking but that’s one well brought up lad.6 -
But she can still come to Bromley Addicks?ChicagoAddick said:I believe his Mum is back in Auckland coaching.0 -
And never forget Ryan Inniss was also a stalwart in in our back four around that time.fenaddick said:We have fantastic competition in that back line once Koumetio is fit. Not long ago Thomas and Hector were starting2 -
Son in law is a Reading fan, really rates Tyler after his spell with them. Welcome Tyler!!5

Yes, it sounds like after her spell at London City Lionesses she definitely was involved with coaching the Football ferns back in New Zealand. Maybe as a keeper coach as that was her position.
Bromley Addicks have some wealthy members and they would pay for Linda, Sorry Jenny's Air fare.0 -

Nothing wrong at all with good quality loans (Carson, Gallagher, Maatsen, Coady, Cullen, Bielik etc). They're only a problem when you end up with ones like Matt Smith and Harry Arter.Lincsaddick said:Terrific signing and just what we needed after losing 2 central defenders at Tottenham

Based on what fans from Reading and Sheff Utd are saying, this one looks like it could be good for us.0 -
When our owners came in and Reading were a mess I was very keen for us to sign Bindon. Delighted we have him. Very decent player.5
-
I think this being a season long loan and not just until January is exactly what this means, unfortunately.balham red said:Sounds like a good signing but hope this doesn't mean Collins is out for most of the season. We dropped a few mill on him and he seemed promising.
Not sure how much of a rush it was to line this deal up, or if we had it on the back burner just in case already, but seems like a decent option at short notice. Like that he’s another big guy so can presumably cover the Lloyd Jones and Big Billy “go head it” role too, which out other fullback-cum-centre backs like Ramsay, Bell, and Mesik don’t offer in the same way.3 -
If nothing else there is always the obligatory summing up of (insert players name) by the ubiquitous James 'look at me' Rodwell.
Welcome Tyler.2 -
Just waiting for when he goes again and people can't help themselves with "Tyler Binned-off"1

And what a great pub he was.bingaddick said:

Kia ora Tyler.
You are the beachhead for the Kiwi revolution at Charlton.
His father played Volleyball for NZ.3 -
Jones comment that Bindon is probably worth more than we could afford if we were looking at a permanent deal is slightly concerning should we wish to pursue that option next summer. What is his value at present ?0

really wont be a problem for us in the Prem.ShootersHillGuru said:Jones comment that Bindon is probably worth more than we could afford if we were looking at a permanent deal is slightly concerning should we wish to pursue that option next summer. What is his value at present ?10
